According to a press release from Accent Media the operator of the .Tickets new gTLD, "around 30,000 premium names, such as ‘vip.tickets’, ‘cheapflight.tickets’ and ‘club.tickets’ have been made available for the first time to innovators and thought leaders, for as little as $1,500." According to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) "cybersquatting claims" by just 4.6% last year In 2015, 2,754 Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) claims were filed, a 4.6% increase on the number in 2014.
