With all the news around GoDaddy ( NYSE: GDDY ) acquiring Name Administration Inc, and Uniregistry. There was some of the back and forth between .commers and new gtld fans. Some made comments saying see GoDaddy did not want the registry business because they are not high on new gtlds. That's not true, they made a decision years ago not to compete. They make money in other ways from new … [Read more...]
GoDaddy acquiring Uniregistry and Name Administration
The first blockbuster deal of the decade. Something that someone predicted to me who had no knowledge over the holiday season. I was having a conversation day after Christmas and someone said to me, "I bet you GoDaddy buys Uniregistry" I said why, they thought with Schilling not as high profile anymore that he would sell out. GoDaddy stock currently 69.89 USD +0.47 (0.68%) GoDaddy is not … [Read more...]

Joe Styler just posted and gave the history of Fast Transfer and … [Read more...]

4600.com closes at $68,000 and another interesting 4N.com story
4600.com expired at GoDaddy auctions and just closed at $68,000. This sale should go through at some price at least it can't be renewed. Back in September 4065.com closed at $14,294 but apparently some people didn't pay and the name was eventually settled at $504. Someone I know confirmed the non paying bidders and must have shared it with Namebio. The name sold back in 2009 on the cheap too, … [Read more...]
