Researcher finds vulnerability with Unicode Latin IPA characters
Matt Hamilton published an article on Soluble.ai where he was able to register domains using homograph domain names on gTLDs (.com, .net, etc.) as well as subdomains within some SaaS companies using homoglyph characters.
