SEOP.com Claims Its Sold Bestseos.com For $530,000

According to a press release out this morning, SEOP.com, a Digital Marketing and SEO agency headquartered in Irvine, CA, says it has sold the  domain name bestseos.com to independent research firm topseos.com for the price of $530k.

“SEOP.com placed the domain name for sale or lease to the highest bidder.

“Eric Schiffer, CEO at SEOP.com, said, “We decided to sell the domain to the party which would benefit most and essentially pay us fair value for the domain.”

“SEOP.com approached topseos.com in order to determine interest in ownership of the domain name due to the similarity to the brand name of topseos.com. Both parties reached mutual agreement in a financial transaction of $530k from topseos.com to SEOP.com with the result being ownership and control of the domain name being released to topseos.com”.

“Jeev Trika, the CEO of topseos.com, stated, “The bestseos.com acquisition further strengthens our position as the primary destination for research into the internet marketing industry and conveys our further interest to reinvest in this space.”

    I wonder if part of the deal was securing the top spot for SEOP on Topseos?
    I’ve heard many times before that Topseos rankings can be easily persuaded for the right price.
