Does anyone have insight on how the sales through sedo happen? Is it just folks browsing for domains that are listed? Or are the sellers paying for premium services and promoting? This might seem like a silly question but I’m basically wondering what the best way to sell a domain on sedo is.

Some are MLS sales, people list at Sedo and it purchased on a partner registrar, these were the top 3
· eventdesigner.com at 23,400 USD
· yjjt.org at 10,000 USD
· qptechnologies.com at 5,000 USD
So someone went to a registrar typed in yjjt.org and bought it there.
Other sales come from searching the Sedo website and others are from parked names using Sedo landing page.

Some partners are Name.com, Epik.com, Dynadot.

I was impressed with the basic keyword phrase sale myself. I have quite a few, nice to see others seeing the value. I see long term difficulty and constant cost for small – mid-sized companies always trying to keep a unique brand name in the fore front.
