Fred Mercaldo sold Kenosha.com for $75,000 according to KenoshaNews.com
Mercaldo is a legendary geo-centric domain investor. He was looking to sell Kenosha.com to a local entrepreneur.
About Kenosha, Wisconsin
Our Lake Michigan shoreline is one of our most popular features, with nearly 90 percent publicly accessible via parks, beaches, festival places and a miles-long promenade. The lakeshore also boasts five one-of-a-kind museums, an authentic electric streetcar system, two historic lighthouses, and the popular Kenosha HarborMarket. A vibrant Downtown district full of shopping, dining and the arts is ideally located just steps from the lakeshore and makes for a truly special visit.
KenoshaNews.com reported that Mercaldo made his intentions known that he was interested in selling Kenosha.com to a local entrepreneur or organization committed to developing and operating the site. A local businessman Jim Gourley Jr.
From the article:
The 66-year-old Kenosha native has acquired the Internet domain Kenosha.com from an Arizona man, who recently announced he owned it and was willing to sell it for $75,000. Gourley said he read about the domain in a recent Kenosha News article and immediately had to have it. “I asked him, ‘How fast can I get it?’” Gourley said.
Congrats to Fred and Jim.

Sold on the same day Rick Schwartz announces a deal for a acrepair.com of at least $1.5million. Tale of two cities.
I expect the geo market will go substantially lower if we have a recession.

Tale of what? That’s a great price Fred got for a place like Kenosha most people in the U.S. have never even heard of the place. Get a grip, you try to sound smart, but you come across real dumb.
