Facebook through their NPE Team has launched what many are calling a Pinterest like app. Facebook has been launching new consumer-focused apps under the developer name “NPE Team, from Facebook.”
Whale was one such app that was created to make memes. That app has apparently already shutdown.
Hobbi.com is owned by a gentleman in Malaysia and currently does not resolve. Apparently a domain investor is hoping the app takes off as they hand registered HobbiApp.com yesterday. It’s currently listed and parked at DAN.com.
Interestingly Hobbi.app was registered back in August of 2019. The website says it will be launching an app but the name looks to be “hobby” instead of their alternative spelling.
Do the things you love, or learn something new, with the folks in your town.
These things are hit and miss and Facebook seems to be throwing a lot of things at the wall. If Hobbi sticks the owner of Hobbi.com could see a nice payday.
You can read more about Hobbi on TechCrunch.

Hmm…..interesting. The already have a domain hack (hob.bi) for their website.

Thank you Kay, I did not even think of the hack. So maybe they are more serious about this experiment.
