Namecheap unveiled a new logo maker today and it looks like you do not have to be a member to use it.
You are totally free to play, create, and download as you see fit. We don’t even ask for your email address. Our logo maker is free for everyone to take their online businesses further.
I have not tried to make one yet but will try later today. When I have needed a professional logo done, I have used Theo at Acroplex and Matt Jackson

I made good looking logos using namecheap logo maker. It is extremely simple and easy to use. I was quite surprised to see that beautiful icons were available for not so common words like podiatry, gynaecology and dermatology. It hardly takes two minutes for the logo to be ready. I also like editing and duplicate features which saved my time.
If you domain name logos, you should give this one a shot.
I am impressed by the logo maker.

Would you risk $625 to reap a $35,000 ROI?
To this point of those persons not honoring their contracts, either to buy and or sell domains, I add Renewals. Recently 2018, I purchased a 2 word ‘PREMIUM’ domain (one of newer level domains) from a recognized registrar who is a reseller. I paid $295 for it. No mention ever made at time of purchase about future price of renewal fees. It came time for renewal this past August 2019, I was able to renew my prized 2 word newer level domain for $34.95 for 1 year, paid for it by CC, issued PAID receipt from registrar demonstrating my 1 yr renewal dates of inclusion rights to ownership. Several days later, I receive email from my registrar telling me, due to some system glitch in their accounting system never picked up on this domain “premium status”, in hindsight being a “PREMIUM DOMAIN ” Registrar says now commands higher $345 renewal fee as being paid, not $34.95 as previously was paid by myself and my receipt demonstrates. Registrar informs me either I can up pay the difference ($310) additional for 1 yr renewal to continue retaining my rights to ownership as registrant, OR should I refuse, they will refund me my $34.95 and release this PREMIUM DOMAIN back into open registry inventory.
Of course I question the integrity of REGISTRAR, knowing it is obvious the mistake error in billing is not my fault owness resides with registrar. Besides I now hold a binding contract of renewal fees paid in advance for this domain was issued to me by my renewing registrar carries with it legal ramifications, breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation etc.
Its now September 4, 2019. 5 days later. I go back to my registrar dashboard again, and see that my same domain in question, continues to exist and remains listed inside my portfolio. Dashboard continues to show the incorrect renewal fee tobe charged is $34.95 listed to be charged for renewal as NOT being paid. Additionally it lists that my domain now is up for expiration/deletion, all due to none payment. No mention ever is made nor appears listed in my dashboard of much higher $345 premium renewal fees that needs to be paid in order for me to retain ownership. (BTW Godaddy quotes charging me $265 renewal fee for renewing same premium domain) I guess taking a bath now costs my registrar $80. Meanwhile I proceed ahead and renew my same domain, again at same registrar, this time for an additional 2X more years @ $34.95 per each year. I pay $69.90 by CC and have PAID registrar receipt to prove it.
My registrar portrays themselves they cant afford to absorb this monetary loss on renewal fees by taking a bath, (never reveals what cost a bath is?) insists either I pay up the $ difference, or loose all rights to future ownership of this premium domain. BTW i’ve been with this same registrar for 8 years, never a glitch or missed payment, annually spend with them upwards $28-$35,000 per year x 8 years = $224,000 $-280,000 spent in renewal cost, purchases and hosting fees each year, in addition have all my web hosting with them.
Today I returned to find email from my registrar first telling me that on 9/6/19 they silently refunded to my registrar account, not tback o my issuing CC that orignally that was used , all renewal fees previously paid towards this domain renewals now equalls $34.95 X3 = $104.85 , In addition registrar without my consent or knowledge unlocked my domain and provided me with transfer codes, away (both are things I never requested).
Basically they are now demonstrating to me, they no longer care or remain interested in having my business, Nor are they remotely concerned about doing ethically/morally what is right,
I guess they are afraid of taking a bath for 80-100 bucks!
Rather than them insisting telling me I should take my business elsewhere, due to their own shortcomings, and misguided energies they should suck up to taking ownership of their own mistake, admit to it and make good by making up the meager financial difference that continues to exist for my 3 year domain renewal and move on. Apparently this registrar is so arrogant, self righteous and pompous it fails to live up to its own self proscribed motto “legendary customer service ” demonstrates at least to me it places little to no value on their words, since they could care less about customer service, customer retention. Speaks more loudly volumes of what they are not, despite what outwardly they are feigning themselves to be when held in public view. Registrars like this given time enough will fail.
COMMENTS PLEASE!

NameCheap is a corrupt organization.
3 domains I held with them for *YEARS* similarly required “Premium” renewal status out of the blue. The Cost: $1,400.00 *ANNUALLY* to maintain registration. I transferred out the domains to an ethical registrar and extended them for another year at a combined total of $67.00
I will also be registering a formal complaint with ICANN
Imran says
Please can you mention where did you transfer the domains
Steve Greenspan says
What domain registrars in your opinion do you contemplate as “ETHICAL”?

I will chime in on Domain Investor comment as i have spoken to him in person.
Additional details that really alarming here, he is talking about .nyc domain, and they dont have premium renewal. Aka, once you buy it, they are yours at regular renewal after. In this case, they tried to charge him again premium renewal, but that renewal wouldnt go to registry, it would go directly to Name Cheap pocket. I think its direct robbery, since they obligated to renew it at regular cost. Name cheap probably liked too much the premium pricing going to their pockets, a great deal indeed.

Woah! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. While purchasing a new domain name, I did see an option for a free logo maker program.
However, after seeing the comments, I am thankful and about to renew all my domains for at least another 3 years. That is insane they do that. I experienced it once but I let the domain name HurtMedia(DOT)com expire, and now it became a premium name for $1500+
But to go and renew your name and have it become premium is insane. I’ve always loved NameCheap, well, because they are CHEAP 🙂 and they’re really good and free whois since forever. Etc
Although I’m not leaving, I will be taking precaution.
