Domain Agents published a post today on ShareTheBus.com upgrading to Bus.com, a domain name the brokerage firm helped them secure.
From the article:
“Rebranding was an essential step in our company’s evolution, since our name now accurately communicates the essence of our company: whether you share a bus or need a whole one, we’ll find you a bus to get you where you need to go,” asserts Boulay.
Since upgrading to Bus.com in the past year, with the help of DomainAgents to secure the name they needed, the company has grown multiple times. With talented new team members now on board with various skill sets and backgrounds, the company continues to forge ahead to take the hassle out of group travel.

I hope they didn’t make the classic $199 opening offer. We just ignore all domain agents offers now, same bs, different day. No $10 participation payouts.

We do exactly the same thing as you and no longer respond to Domain Agents’ inquiries as they are all lowball offers and a waste of time.

Some old offers didn’t qualify for the $10 (was related to a test that didn’t require the buyer to buy a credit), but now all offers do as long as you at least make a counter offer. We’re sorry if the test caused some confusion before.
As for the minimum, we do review all offers that come in. If there is a high BIN or if the name is clearly worth a lot (ie 3 letter .com), we advise the buyer that they need to make a higher offer, but some buyers still want to go ahead and of course how you and the buyer value a name can vary wildly.
