The owner of CustomerService.com joined Namepros and posted that the name is for sale for the first time since being registered in 1995. That seems to be in question.
There is also a finder’s fee for anyone who can help sell the domain name.

This domain has been offered for sale in at least three auctions, so I don’t think saying it’s being offered for sale for the first time is fair.
Ray says
Too generic to be a brand.
The owner should be happy to get low 6 figures in my opinion.
Best of luck to him though.
Snoopy says
Absolute garbage, the name has been offered dozens of times without a sale over the last 15 years.
The problem with the name is that there isn’t obvious buyers who would need it.
Rick Schwartz says
I have a 7 figure+ contract on ServiceDesk.com with equity in new company..
Looking both up, customer service has more searches (3.4 Billion vs 1.8 Billion) but no google ads.
FX says
3b searches ?? You’re delusional !!
That’s 3B web pages with the words ‘costumer service ‘ on them !!!
VM Freeman says
But ServiceDesk.com is a far more brandable EMD than the purely-generic CustomerService.com, and I really think that this domain is past its due date for a mid-7-figure sale.

ServiceDesk.com works as a brand. It is not a descriptive domain.
CustomerService.com is descriptive but it does not fit well for its industry because companies in this industry typically want a snappy brand name not a longish SEO play.
I think the difference is subtle but CS is going to have very few people knocking and with the price the owner wants it is going to knock it dead.
Rick Schwartz says
15 years ago I would have traded and added money to get CustomerService.com. The value then could have been $5 million or more. But things have changed. And this is not what I would call a “Perishable domain”. But the window of opportunity for highest return has past imo.
Just like Smartphone.com or Smartphones.com that is also out there right now. It has value, but nowhere like it once had. There are many like that. Could have been a 7 figure domain at one time and now it may be hard to fetch 6 figures. It’s a diminishing market. We are back to phones or mobile devices etc.
BullS says
CustomerServieSucks dot com has more value and it is in tune with what we have now in this wall country!!

It’s funny how much selling the seller is doing in his post on NamePros. WAY overdoing it, in my opinion. It screams desperation. No reason to have to explain so much about a domain that should sell itself. Also, it’s definitely not the best 2-word domain to ever become available to the public LOL. Also who the hell considers it the holy grail of 2-word domains? Funny listing… Best of luck to the seller though.

GoDaddy appraises CustomerService.com at 20k.
I wouldnt even pay 1/4 of that amount.
Brad says
If you wouldn’t pay 5K for that domain then you have no business ever writing a comment on any domain blogs ever again.
Snoopy says
Agree, the wholesale value is well into 5 figs, the person who would say no at 5k is a muppet.
Vito says
All sales ever reported @NameBio with “Customer” at the beginning…
CustomerPortal.com – $10,000 – 2009
Customer.org – $5600 – 2015
CustomerRelations.com – $5200 – 2013
Every other recorded sale with “Customer” at the beginning is lower than $3650 in the history of Namebio recorded sales.
All sales ever reported @NameBio with “Service” at the end…
maidservice.com – $49,500 – 2012
limousineservice.com – $30000 – 2007
resumeservice.com – $28,000 – 2010
cateringservice.com – $27,000 – 2007
answeringservice.com – 25,000 – 2008
funeralservice.com – 23,652 – 2005
After (20) entires of recorded sales at NameBio with “Service” at the end, then all sales drop below 10k
Some may argue that CustomerService is stronger than MaidService at 50k. I think not. Like Ray said up above, not a clear end user with this as your domain. There has not been a very strong recorded sale in many years with these keywords. (2) – 17k and 15k in the past year and a half.
As a domainer most discussion is around multiplying your investment by 10x. This would probably fetch low 5 figures at wholesale but sorry, I dont see the ROI being that great for the money invested if you were able to get this at that level.

What is “maid service”??

I think it a great domain, but it is clearly not as good as the sales pitch.
The owner is trying way too hard to oversell it.

Too long and too generic, these types of domains are history.
Mark Thorpe says
CustomerService.com is a fantastic domain name IMO. They could get low-to-mid 7 figures from the right end-user.
Yinan says
I would like to pay $150k for this domain name, so it is worth at least $150k now
Snoopy says
Have you made the offer?
