We are celebrating the 11th anniversary of TheDomains.com. Michael Berkens started this journey with the following post back in 2007.
The domains.com is now live. We are throwing our hat into the ring, to blog about all things domain.
We acknowledge and thank some of the brilliant thinkers who are already blogging about the domain name industry. Many of those blogs appear under our links section.
Hope you check back often and that we can add to your understanding of the industry.
10,834 posts and 109,000 comments later, Thank you to all our readers, advertisers and fellow domainers who have shared articles and left comments.
Thank you to Michael and Judi for all their contributions.

Congrats from Va Beach as well…..for me, a serial entrepreneur who has started dozens of businesses since college in 1968, 11 years is just a baby. Like Michael Berkins who said 11 years ago, “We are throwing our hat into the ring, to blog about all things domain.”, I too am throwing my hat into the ring, but with one big difference, my blog will be about all things NAMES, not just domains.
An interesting stat I’ll share from the SBA, fewer than a third of start ups make it to 10 so you’re in special company; https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/SurvivalRatesAndFirmAge_ADA_0_0.pdf
Finally, while I’ve started businesses back in the 70’s that are still in business today, and some that failed in their first two years, the business I’m most proud of is my marriage that’s lasted 48 years.
I hope to see you in Vegas,
Bulloney aka ThatNameGuyâ„¢ ( rebrand)

The Domains is one of the blogs that I have enjoyed reading over the years, although Raymond has done a great job in keeping the blog going, but I would like to see more articles by you Mike, I like to know if you are working on creating another portfolio and what kind of domains you are collecting and what is your prespective and predictions for domaining for the next 10 years with all the new technologies that are coming around.
