Sedo reported their weekly sales and a group of names tied for the top spot. OpenWeb.com, MedicalCRM.com, Caliva.com, Camisetas.com.br and USbetting.net all sold for $15,000 in a light week for domain sales. The usbetting story is an interesting one.
This week’s sales underlies a lot of the confusion and frustration many domainers have. After looking at the .com list, I am sure many will say they have far better names and yet can’t make a sale. A lot of names on the list are average at best, some are outliers where someone got lucky, like P8nt.com, people post names like that on forums every year, and for the most part get laughed at. But as they say, it only takes one buyer.

Wow- interesting that bakt.com sold for $10K in the same week that the NYSE parent company ICE announces a new brand for their digital asset exchange company- bakkt.com- which looks like it was hand registered back on July 6th- or one month ago!
Those .com names do suck.
