Giuseppe Graziano from GGRG.com sent out a message in his latest newsletter about a new offering. LXME – Liquid Domain Market Exchange.
He writes:
Last March, I had some time to reflect about why I started GGRG.com in the first place, and to me, since the beginning, I always had this dream of making the domain market more efficient by helping people understand what makes a domain worth $10 and what makes another worth $1M. Making the domain market efficient has always been the theme (besides Lisbon, of course) underneath all of our articles, newsletters and reports. I truly believe that domain names can be a legitimate alternative asset class, but to get there, there has to be certainty about how much domains are really worth.
In order to make buying and selling liquid domains as easy and frictionless as possible, with clear guidelines about how much your domain is worth, exactly 3 years later we are proud to announce that we are getting ready to launch LXME – the Liquid Domain Market Exchange. If you are someone who routinely invests in 3Ls, 4Ns, 2Ls .com OR someone who owns a domain in the following .com categories: 2Ns, 3Ns, 4Ns, 2Ls, 3Ls, 2Cs .com, click on this link to get early access on our platform. We have limited testing seats available, so send me a message ASAP so we can get you signed up on the platform:

So clear this up for me, is this a platform to invest in domains without purchasing them or another buy/sell platform?
Giuseppe says
Hi Josh, thank you for commenting! LXME.com has not officially launched yet (we are simply testing), but yes, it is a platform in which you can buy & sell what we call liquid domains. If you are interested in learning more about what we normally refer to as liquid domains, you can check out our quarterly reports that we publish in collaboration with Intelium, Escrow.com and ShortNames.com: http://ggrg.com/industry-report/ . Thanks!
Josh says
Just trying to understand this a second…..This essentially means you are setting up a platform where people can sell their very valuable domains to you for rock bottom prices?
Giuseppe says
Hi Josh! No, we do not actually buy liquid domains. We would be connecting buyers and sellers.

The words ‘oil’ and ‘snake’ come to mind.
Sounds like the guy happens to own a few very average four-letter .coms and thinks they are the key to success.
For a start, how does LXME.com represent ‘Liquid Domain Market Exchange’?
Incidentally, the correct corresponding domain name, LDME.com, is for sale by somebody else – he needs to make them an offer they can’t refuse!
Giuseppe says
That’s true! Actually, the name is a play on the reports we publish (called LXDO: http://ggrg.com/industry-report/ ) and the city in which we are based, Lisbon, which is commonly abbreviated as LX. But yes, I did think about LDME.com 🙂

Might help explain what issue your service resolves.
VR says
You do know Giuseppe didn’t write this article right?
Giuseppe says
Thank you VR 🙂

I went to the site and still am left confused, is this just another platform to sale domains or is he offering some type of investment service or solving a problem I cannot think of? Usually when I read something over and over and am still unclear as to what it is that is being sold….. ahhhh boy
Ryan says
Is this the best 4L he could get, seems like this exchange is built on a $199 domain, least of your gonnna be the queen of short domains, step up with a memorable one.
Josh says
Like DIJ.com ? Domain Investment Journal !
I couldn’t help myself, carry on.
