Minimizing effort, time and costs for the technical development of your system is always a good idea. However, selling domains and related products is not an easy-to-handle business sometimes. To provide your clients the best offering can mean to deal with thousands of top level domains, their regulations and handling rules as well as complex technical background processes for domains and add-ons.
If you decide to sell domains and related products to business or private customers, it may be an alternative to outsource the burden of dealing with most technical issues to a service provider. This is, where RRPproxy’s new user interface ties in. Experience has shown that many domain resellers are increasingly interested in relying on a powerful API, but at the same time need a powerful and user-friendly interface for themselves and their business customers.
Consequently the RRPproxy development team worked together on a solution for a multi-user web interface equaled to API functionality, that combines highest usability, automation, dependency handling, and security with advanced subreselling features. To push the start of the new interface RRPproxy offers .com registrations for $8.13 to new customers until March 31 with the promotion code BRANDnew.
The whole RRPproxy user interface is reflected in the API, if needed the API console is available as a pop-up anywhere in the UI. RRPproxy’s Metaregistry allows the registration of more than 1,000 TLDs taking account of all their requirements, which significantly reduces the development and implementation effort for resellers. With the so-called Registry Account Management (RAM) they are able to keep their registry accreditations while RRPproxy manages all technical aspects.
The new RRPproxy interface is designed to save valuable time at any possible place with automation and dependency handling. It integrates extensive bulk features for domain search, registrations, renewals, deletions, transfers and updates. Auth codes for any TLD are generated automatically. Extensive dependencies simplify the registration of TLDs with specific requirements, as it is self-explaining which entry is needed for a successful completion of the registration procedure.
A sub-reseller system can significantly reduce the effort for managing business clients such as smaller reseller’s or web agencies. RRPproxy’s new UI includes a re-invented hierarchical sub-reseller system with white-label interface and integrated accounting system. Users can directly access sub-reseller accounts as super user, easily search for domains in the sub-accounts, hand down account settings to the sub-levels and change settings for defined levels with one click. Prices can now be edited offline with easy export and import of lists including the purchase price as basis for the sub-reseller pricing.
Domain registrations, whois privacy, web hosting, virtual and root servers, DNS hosting as well as SSL certificates are all fully resalable through the sub-reseller system. Web hosting was newly integrated in the interface and divided into the separate products webspace, mailspace and data bases. RRPproxy also emphasized the simplification of processes such as ICANN owner change and contact verification in the new UI. The current status can be seen on the individual domain vCard and required actions can be started right from here.
Users can adapt their personal dashboard in the UI to their operating principles with widgets for products and processes. To facilitate the handling of large portfolios, lists for registered domains or pending transfers, owner changes and restores are provided. These lists can be sorted according to selected column headers and tags (e.g. cost center, keyword or customer). Domain presets with values such as contact, name servers, tags and domain period can be used as default per customer.
As a domain reseller you take on a responsibility for the security of your and your customers’ business. Two-factor authentication for the UI login, IP white-listing for the API gateways, two-factor domain protection and the default encryption of passphrases and auth codes are among RRPproxy’s measures to support security demands.
RRPproxy is a business area of the German-based registrar Key-Systems.

I understood it, but their sales pitch kind of invalidated the whole “we simplified stuff” they were claiming.
