It’s been my opinion for many years that Tom Brady is the best Quarterback that I have ever seen in my Long life.
I’ve been watching football as long as I can remember and we are up to Superbowl 51 this year, I’m 58.
So off of another amazing performance last night I thought I would take a look at Mr. Brady’s domain names.
TomBrady.com seems to not be owned directly by Mr. Brady.
The registrant is listed as Wilfred Smith of France, however the domain name has been forwarded to the official Facebook page of Tom Brady since 2012
The domain is registered using the domain name registrar Gandi.net
The domain name TomBrady.com was first registered according to DomainTools.com on March 5th, 2001.
Tom was drafted in the 6th round of the 2000 draft on April 16th, 2000, which happens to be my wedding anniversary (April 16th well before 2000)
Tom’s first game was September 23, 2001.
The domain was parked until at least 2008 where it changed ownership.
Tom Brady has a brand known as TB12 (Tom Brady for those that may not know, wears number 12).
Mr. Brady does not appear to directly own TB12.com.
TB12.com was first registered back in 2000.
However in 2003, the same Wilfred Smith of then California, acquired the domain name and continues to own it today in France using the same domain name registrar Gandi.
The domain name TB12.com however is not forwarding to Mr. Brady official site which is TB12Store.com nor to his Facebook page and appears to be independent but not what i would call a site (the screenshot appears above).
TB12Store.com was registered on July 25th 2015 and is listed as owned by a Jeffrey Surette of France at the same domain registrar gandi.net.
There are 24 live trademarks for TB12 in the USPTO all listed as owned by Yee & Dubin Sports LLC of California, which is a sports management and consulting firm
The new gTLD TB12.store is not registered as of publication and is priced at $9.99 at Godaddy.
The domain TomBrady.Football is reserved by the registry

Mike,
I agree with you here. I was at the game last night and crowd was chanting “MVP” at the end as he demonstrated once again his prowess.
Interestingly, I see that there are TWENTY-FOUR (!) registered trademarks in the USPTO for “TB12”.
I have no doubt that Brady’s lawyers will eventually starting filing legal disputes to claw these back. Probably, when he retires and starts spending full-time on his licensing businesses.

Generally, sport stars are able to overcome their scandals. Kobe Bryant and Tiger Woods for example. However, we really don’t know what the future for Tom is considering his scandal has to do with the game itself…..Perhaps on the East Coast he is larger than life, but on the West Coast you can’t mention his name without the word “cheater” being mentioned. Patriot fans will always hold him in high regard, everyone else not so much.

He is right, anyone who is not a pats, or brady fan really focuses on this moment when it comes to a part of his legacy, really to bad.
tb12.com had issues already that were reported before.
I am sure his team knows about his personal name, tb12 for that fact is a tough one.

As a Jets fan I have immense respect for Tom Brady, however Peyton Manning is the greatest quarterback of all time.
Learning multiple different offenses and winning rings with two different teams clinched that debate for me.
Brady may play until 2019 however so his book isn’t closed just yet.

I really don’t see why Tom Brady needs tombrady, com.
I’d assume his agent fields all endorsement pitches. I could see him wanting the URL if he were selling seminars, merch, but I’d imagine he gets a nice % of Tom Brady-related merch sold through multiple channels.
I agree Michael —
Brady is the greatest QB all time — IMO — he’s having one of the greatest seasons ever, and he still excels even without super star Bronkowski.. He’s thrown what: 25 TDs and only 1 interception. This is off the charts.
My list:
1) Brady
2) Manning
3) Montana
4) Elway
5) Marino

“crowd was chanting “MVP” at the end ”
Are you sure they were not chanting that for Flacco ???
