Percentage of Parked New gTLD Zoom Up Over 65% As Over 3 Million Added in A Week

According to  ntldstats.com, the number of “Parked” new gTLD domain names as defined by ntldstats.com has increased by over 3 Million domain names just since October 25th 2016.

On October 25th, the number of Parked domains was just 13,175,000; however as of November 2nd that number has ballooned up over 16,374,000.

The percentage of new gTLD’s domain names that are parked as measured by ntldstats.com zoomed past 65% in this basically one week period.

According to ntldstats.com, domain names that have a parking service name servers, no  servers, no record, redirects, goes to a non-resolving page are all included as Parked domains.

The all time high for parked domains according to ntldstats is over 17,729,000 in July of 2016 then falling to under 13,175,00 in October.
