Sedo reported their weekly sales and Smiile.com was the top sale at $18,000. These kinds of names have been trending at BrandBucket over the last few months. The extra vowel in the middle or the repeating letter at the end like Fiverr have been getting accepted regularly.
BrandNames.net selling for $8,888 was a great price in my opinion.
No new gtld sales this week and only one .org for that matter.

Nada, Zero, Zeroe, Zilch, Nothing, No NGTLD ‘sales.
not the first week…
No-resell market
Explain that?
Frank, Frank… are you there?
Jane Doe says
Explanation?
How about the fact that SEDO doesn’t report sales below a certain threshold.
The fact that sales are not being reported does not equate to them not occurring, just that the market is not mature enough for people to be willing to pay more than they currently are (which is below the current threshold)
Raymond Hackney says
Sedo used to report .coms down to about $700, they raised it to $2,000. They see no one else reporting anything and they decided to hold back some of their data like Buy it now %. They raised the threshold to show fewer sales.
Domo Sapiens says
same goes for unreported .com sales.
It cuts both ways.
NGTLD Top Secret Sales….please! 🙂
There is NO Re-sell Market Period
Not even Start-ups like them …
most of those BS reported NGTLD sales are “Premium Registrations” (most of which are abandoned)

Yeah our company is Smiile with two I’s. Ugh!!! Really makes me want to throw up.

My thoughts exactly. I’ll bet they use the two “i’s” as part of a smiley face, though.
Michael Berkens says
We do report sales almost everyday on our Twitter feed @thedomains from sedo and afternic, although we usually do not have pricing information.
The number of new gTLD sales we can track this way is very small.
Domo Sapiens says
Thanks for the feedback.

theexpert.com 2,600 USD <— total bargain. Congrats to the buyer.
