Graham Charlton published an article on how many users can’t recognize a PPC ad in Google search. Now I remembered reading another article a few months back which Charlton referenced in his latest article.
The latest findings show 55% of respondents did not know the difference between paid listings and organic listings.
Check out the entire article on Clickz.com for a detailed breakdown by age, and a look at how Google’s ads have changed their look over the last decade.

And no doubt that’s just the way they want it because, well, they’re evil, not to mention arrogant.
But no one’s ever going to stand up to them, and they’ll never be hit with any anti-trust action, right? And anyone who shares any similar thoughts will always be too afraid to say anything, yes?

I stand up to them every day : check out “The Pay Per Click Dictatorship” 2 minute video

Tricking people into clicking ads is not surprising from a company that has bots clicking their ads daily. Wasn’t there a study reporting over 90% of ad clicks are from bots. You are paying for bots to click your ads!!! Nice business if you can pull it off. Jokes on all the ad subscribers.
Thomas SK says
THANK you Steve. Indeed there are probably MUCH more bots than we think.
Check out the video I sent to John up there on his comment.
I don’t want to post it again to not be spammy.

I don’t see anything. Is it “awaiting moderation”?
Thomas SK says
Ah yes… It’s called “The Pay Per Click Dictatorship”, a 2 minute video:

I am about to publish a new one right now, about the AdBlock VS Facebook epic battle and what it means for us marketers. Because the implications are huge, especially if AdBlocks get their way.
