Sedo released their sales data for the week, there were a couple 3L.com sales with ENS.com and HSE.com.
Horse.Horse for $2,000 was the most puzzling sale of the week for me. I am not sure why to spend $2,000 on Horse.Horse. 101 Domain page showing currently.

hse.com – 30k.. for some reason to me that feels a bit low..
Kemji says
I agree. HSE is quite a big trend now so this is surely an undersell.
James Booth says
I agree. I picked it up. 100% keeper for me till end user sale.

Mamma.com – there’s a URL from the past.
Mamma Search Engine, backed by Mark Cuban, was supposed to destroy Google, and put it out of biz. This was in maybe 2003?
Oh, well…next
Didn’t work out as well as Broadcast.com, which was put out to pasture by the Purple Cow after paying over $5 Billion for a URL and technology that didn’t work. Tumblr. was a bad deal at &1.2 Billion, but at least it had a community, revenues, and it was a “Hail Mary” to compete with Twitter and WordPress.
asset.domains says
Mamma was far nefore 2003
It was marketed as ´the mother of all search engines’
But it seems was just a sort of aggregator of other search engines, it was created after altavista.com

mildred.com at $4,980 seems like quite a good buy. Wish I would have seen it.
Domainer says
Did anyone notice that the list is smaller than normal?
And, they no longer state the total sales and the percentage of “buy now” sales.
I wonder if Afternic is also experiencing a slump?
Raymond Hackney says
We posted about it a few weeks ago Domainer.
Sedo first started posting sales of $2,000 and above months ago, used to be $700.
A few weeks ago, no total sales and no buy it now %.

Wow! Mamma.com (“Mamma” means “Mother”/”Mom” in Italian) is impressive … I should say “Mamma mia!” 😀
Joking aside, Huge traffic and Great Brand! 🙂
Congrats to the buyer!
A bit of history about MAMMA.com (Source. Wikipedia):
Mamma.com was launched in July 1996 by Herman Tumurcuoglu in Montreal, Canada. It was one of the web’s first tier 2 metasearch engines.
Copernic Technologies Inc. was incorporated In July, 1996, under the name Agents Technology Inc.
On December 22, 2005, Mamma.com completed its acquisition of “Copernic Technologies Inc.”, a search technology company founded in July 1996 in Quebec City and maker of the desktop search utility Copernic Desktop Search. In the preceding fiscal year Copernic had a revenue of about $5.9 million and an EBITDA of about $1.8 million; Mamma.com paid $15.9 million and issued 2,380,000 common shares.
On June 8, 2007, Mamma.com Inc. changed its name to Copernic Inc., received a new stock symbol CNIC, (effective June 14, 2007), and launched its new corporate website.
On November 17, 2008, the SEC announced that it had charged Mark Cuban with insider trading. He was cleared in 2013: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-sec-cuban-verdict-idUSBRE99F0ZM20131016
It was alleged that he directed his broker to sell his entire 600,000 shares of stock in the company to avoid losses in excess of $750,000 based on insider information.
On June 30, 2009, Copernic completed the sale of Mamma.com and its third party Ad Net to Empresario, a privately owned digital media network based in Chicago Illinois.

Steve and Andrea, thanks for that info. Timing is everything. Look at the Cuban interviews on youtube….he speaks of that and broadcast dot com venture frequently.
Realhosting dot com is the winner here IMO. very nice sale/get. Reseller account, and cleaver marketing, and you’re in business.
