Release:
Escrow.com Adds New Agents in Customer Support
San Francisco, California, July 21st 2016 – Escrow.com‘s team has grown rapidly in the first half of 2016, with the launch of new international offices and expansion of Customer Service, Engineering and Payments Management teams. From July 2016, an additional three new agents will be joining the Customer Service team to assist customers in completing their high value transactions online.
With Tania, Jennifer and Rukshaar joining the team Escrow.com now offers support in five additional languages — Russian, Spanish, Hindi, Punjabi and Korean.
“Our international Customer Service team, which is lead by Customer Service Manager Brian Tharp, allows us to offer extended hours and multilingual support, as well as our new Domain Concierge Service” said Jackson Elsegood, General Manager.
Expanding support hours and languages has been a priority since Escrow.com CEO Matt Barrie annouced an objective of 24 hour, 7 day support in 25 languages at NamesCon 2016 in January. Since the annoucement, new telephone and chat support teams have been created across four international offices around the world to provide 24-hour support on the phone and on site. Since January the Escrow.com’s Customer Support team has responded to over 10,000 onsite chats and over 15,000 phone calls, helping its users complete their transactions on without the risk of fraud or chargeback.

Escrow support has been sucking it bad, the chat feature is horrible, I wasted ten minutes with a simple task, and the chat answer was call this number, or email support, wow!
Takes 3 days to get an email response, I am not using escrow for all go to transactions no longer.

seriously… they have become worse than bad.
John says
Agreed they have been the worst in the business for the last few months. They need to hire more agents that speak English first…
Trevor says
Well said John, they are taking core customers for granted.
This was exactly what was predicted to happen.
Payouts are slow, I don’t know if they gain more money by holding longer, but it is really F”Ed up!
steve brady says
They’re catching up with 7ELEVEN.

Personally, I’ve never had any issues with Escrow.com. That’s not to say others aren’t. Whatever the customer-service issues causing this level of discontent, I hope managers pause to listen to people and fix the problems.
From my perspective, I only see a portion of what’s going on. But to me it doesn’t look like management is neglecting Escrow.com after acquiring it or taking this part of their business for granted. When I suggested a new feature at NamesCon back in January, they rolled out that new feature within weeks. And they’re certainly trying to improve Escrow.com in other respects. Covering 5 additional languages is definitely a step forward.
If they’ve taken a step backward in response time or customer trust, then they’d better fix the problem and reassure people. No reason they can’t.
