Anything.com which has owned and still owns some great domain names just got his with a UDRP on the domain name Bagley.com
According to UDRPsearch.com this is the 7th UDRP filed against Anything.com which won all but one of the UDRP’s
Anything has won UDRP’s on the following domain names; Quebec.com, VZ.com, KIS.com, EZstreet.com; itt.net and norsk.com and lost one on the domain name Flamingo.com.
The UDRP was filed by Bagley Argentina S.A. which uses the domain name Bagley.com.ar for it’s website.
The company also has a US federal trademark since 1984 for “Crackers, Cookies, Wafers and Bakery Good”
.Ar is the country code (cctld) for Argentina.
Of course Bagley is a popular first and last name and is included in the names of a lot of businesses around the world.
A Google search returned almost 12 million results for the term, “Bagley”
We will keep track of the case

Another SaveMe ordeal? Hopefully, this brand didn’t make an offer and get rejected. Holding a trademark in the US for the goods they sell from as far back as 1984 could favor them.
However, it really depends on the timeline. Did they make an offer? How is this domain used? Is it parked with ads to such goods? A lot of variables to consider. It is a last name. People are using this name to market their business. It is a city in Minnesota.
Why wait so long to initiate a UDRP? This domain was registered in 1999. This Bagley company waited 17 years later to make a case against the owner?

Larry Fischer and Ari Goldberger use to work very closely with Anything. I assume they still do. And, Ari is one the top IP lawyers. (other IP lawyers – Stevan Leiberman, John Berryhill, and others).
I am sure Anything will defend themselves. And, fortunately, they can afford to take it to Federal court if necessary.
