Google Domains has moved over to a .Google TLD.
You might remember last April’s Fool’s day when Google temporarily put up “com.google”.
This is for real and in a post Google says:
Introducing domains.google — a new URL for Google Domains
“We’re so excited about new domain name endings, we decided to use one ourselves! Starting today, you can find us at domains.google”
“Like it? Get a unique URL of your own. There are hundreds of new domain name endings to choose from — from the practical (.florist), to the artistic (.vision) and the just plain fun (.ninja). Check them out now at domains.google.”

Another step forward. Many of the new tld’s have good synergy considering what’s located on each side of the dot. Might sound odd, but all these hard to follow Twitter handles of the past few years made new tld’s seem like an easy transition.

That are really embracing new tlds!

Not really surprised. Some though that google would move the .Xyz they acquired, which to me, didn’t sound like a good move at all for a registrar service managed by Google Inc.. I still have yet to try Google as a registrar, but i suppose it’s time I take the head first dive into the abyss and see what it’s all about.

Google God is moving away from COM. What a great piece of news for the not-COM supporters.

Rashed says
