RightoftheDot.com is holding a live and online auction with Namejet.com from the Namescon conference.
RightoftheDot.com has now formally opened up submission for the auction.
We are looking for great domain names, especially one word .com and new gTLD’sm along with short domains in all extensions, along with brand domains, category killers, Geographic domains.
Domains should have a low reserve price.
The reserve price is not the price you would quote to sell the domain if you got an offer on the domain.
Our two largest sales from the auction we held in August in conjunction with Domainfest.asia one for over $100K and one for over $80K had no reserve.
358.com which sold on snapnames back in July for $480,000 started with no reserve.
The reserve price should be set aggressively to attract multiple bids.
Pre-bidding has already begun on Namejet.com
As of publication 45 domain names already have a bid.
The live domain name auction will be on January 11th, 2016 at 2pm PST with live remote bidding on Namejet.com
The live auction will be followed by a online extended auction on Namejet.com which will run until Jan 21, 2016.
Domain names that are included in the Live Auction and not sold along with hundreds of other domain names not chosen for the Live Auction will be in the extended auction.
Namescon is being held January 10-13th at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.
You can now submit your domain names for consideration for the auction here
The deadline to submit domain names is November 20, 2015
However as soon as your domain(s) are accepted into the auction they will be added to pre-bidding on NameJet.com so the sooner you submit your domain(s) the sooner they may go live on Namejet.com for bidding.
Please do not email myself or Monte or namejet.com domain names to submit to the auction.
Domain names must be formally submitted through: ROTD.com/auction-submission

Contributed a couple of dozen for consideration… Kinda wish they sent a confirmation e-mail, as I don’t specifically recall which ones I sent up and didn’t make a note of it…
Bruce Tedeschi says
Question: I submitted names… When is the decision made to accept or reject? How are you notified either way?
Michael Berkens says
Bruce
We do have a process which takes a few days depending if you submit them on a Friday Vs. a Monday however we do have a limited number of spots so while we are accepting some domains immediately we are waiting to make a decision on many others until the submission closes otherwise we will win up with possibly thousands of domain names.
If a domain is rejected and is no longer under consideration you should receive a notice on those with in lets call it 7 days or 5 business days
GANESH says
