The domain name TPP.com has been hit with a UDRP
The Complainant is unknown at the moment but the domain is owned on behalf of a client of MarkMonitor which generally means big corporate client and was owned earlier this year by Thomson Reuters Holdings Inc a client of MarkMonitor.com since at least 2005.
There are at least 7 different trademarks for the world-famous term TPP in the USPTO going back to 1992.
The UNITED STATES GOLF ASSOCIATION filed the 1st trademark in 1992 and then LOCKKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION file a trademark in 2001
This year a trademark was filed by the extremely famous Tajudeena L. Jones.
Yeah I never heard of her either.
So we will see who filed the UDRP once the case goes to a decision.
In the meantime nice to see the corporate guys being pressed to defend stupid UDRP’s like domainers.
The domain TPP.com is not resolving and Screenshots.com has no history for the domain.

Tit / Tat.

Our fingers are kept crossed as we await the real owner of the trademark.

I looked him up. The “TPP” refers to his nonprofit based in Chicago. He works at Veterans Affairs and has been trying since last year to arrange events under the name “Totally Positive Productions.” Unfortunately, his current domain’s WHOIS has errors, and the website gives “bandwidth exceeded” in lieu of a resolved page.
You can see videos of some of Totally Positive Productions’ events on YouTube at TotallyPositiveProd, and on Facebook at TotallyPositive.
Poor fella. I hope he doesn’t spend too much time or money on this.
