NCC Group has announced the line-up of its new .trust Advisory Board, “an elite panel of renowned security experts responsible for supporting NCC Group’s .trust Technical Policy, in a bid to create the world’s first secure community on the Internet”.
Six renowned security experts currently sit on the board alongside Gunter Ollmann, CTO of the group’s Domain Services division.
The board will provide high-level support for NCC Group’s .trust Technical Policy.
An industry first, the policy focuses on securing websites and other critical Internet services while protecting customers as they transact, interact and share information online. Specifically, it provides requirements to address network, web application, email, malware and DNS risks.
Ollmann will head up the board and will be joined by the following experts:
• Robert Hansen, VP of WhiteHat Labs at WhiteHat Security
• Mike Koss, director of IT security at CLS Group
• Katie Moussouris, chief policy officer at HackerOne
• Christopher Nickerson, founder of Lares
• Richard Stiennon, founder of IT-Harvest
• Dafydd Stuttard, director at PortSwigger Web Security
