Welcome to Domain Movers where I detect domain names on the move that have been recently purchased, registered or on the move for one reason or another. The majority of the following domain names have ownership by large corporations or are simply high value domain names.
These are often early detections and being reported on for the first time. These domain names can lead to new products, companies, services, advertising and more. I heavily rely on whois data to tell the story of these movements, which doesn’t always tell the whole story, so keep that in mind but I try my best to report accurately on what I see. Here are my latest findings:
CallWhiteSquad.com has been registered to go along with the domain name WhiteSquad.com that I had earlier reported by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client using DnStination Inc. in whois. WhiteSquad.com was acquired from HugeDomains which had a Buy Now for $2,095. WhiteSquad.com was acquired according to whois records about June 26, 2015 via Sedo.

The domain has been registered since November 12, 2012 and went from Laura with the domain being registered at Tucows, transferred to Dynadot under privacy on or about July 31, 2014 and then transferring to MarkMonitor around October 2014.
Red Bull GmbH has acquired the domain name WingFinder.com from HugeDomains. The transaction took place between December 2014 and March 10, 2015 according to whois records but likely about February 8, 2015. I had reported this domain earlier but didn’t know who the buyer was at that time.
AtomicAnalytics.com has been acquired by One Technologies, adding to its nearly 3,000 domain names according to DomainTools records. The domain name was owned by a Todd Porter of Jacksonville, Florida and registered at GoDaddy until about May 5, 2014 when whois records changed to One Technologies.

Goodgame Studios has acquired the domain name LegendsOfHonor.com from Mike Mann’s DomainMarket.com. Of the 11 currently offered games on its website, “Legends Of Honor” was not one of them listed currently. New game?
GoDaddy has sold the domain names CommunityHub.com, FactorySale.com, GreekLink.com, Notarize.com, ProSmart.com, Fably.com, EasyCast.com and TopResumes.com out of its Marchex portfolio purchase. In general, it appears they are moving (selling) about 2-8 domains a week day lately.
Doc.com has been listed for sale after being used by Digitaloptics Corporation, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSRA). It appears they are using the marketing agency Impress Labs to either market the domain name or at a minimum to take in-coming leads for the domain name. Based on DomainTools.com screen shot tool, the domain has been listed for sale since April 2015. I reached out for a quote and didn’t hear back.
Fans.com has potentially sold? The domain name last had public whois data listed as World Media Group, LLC back in 2012 and transferred out of Register.com to GoDaddy at that time and set to UltraDNS name servers at that time. The domain name has since change name servers to DnSimple. The domain has had a “Coming Soon” message on it since 2012.
Pana.com has been acquired by “Native” which is a travel personal assistant app that is part of Techstars, using NativeApp.com. Sahar Sarid reported the domain sold for “under $10K at GoDaddy in June 2014 and was listed for $50K at BrandBucket”. Sahar was not the owner but said he had “accidentally missed that auction”.
Devon Tivona and Sam Felsenthal are the co-founders of the application who may be doing a rebrand to Pana?

Starz Entertainment, LLC has acquired the domain name SaveMyPower.com a domain name that was owned by Daniel Ackerman of Denver Colorado according to whois records. The transaction appears to have taken place sometime about July 14, 2015 with the whois change of ownership. The domain was using CashParking at the time and has been registered since March 6, 2012. SaveMyPower.net was registered on June 17, 2015 by Starz.
SpectrumCommunication.com and SpectrumCommunications.com have been acquired from BuyDomains.com by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client according to current whois records for each domain name. Charter Communications Operating, LLC does own SpectrumCommunication.org and would be a potential buyer of both domains.

Facebook, Inc. who registered the domain name BuckBuild.com on April 2, 2014 has loaded the domain name up on CloudFlare.com hosting. The IP location is Fastly and is on a GitHub.com server type. The website title is: Buck: A fast build tool
The website states: “Buck is a build system for Android that encourages the creation of small, reusable modules consisting of code and resources. Because Android applications are predominantly written in Java, Buck also functions as a Java build system. Learn more about the strategies Buck uses to build Java code so quickly.”

Bedrock Manufacturing Co. acquired the domain name Uncorporate.com from HugeDomains.com in a transaction that appears to have taken place about October 2, 2013 but only name servers changed and not the rest of whois data. They have been using the domain name for a couple of years for the Shinola brand, with a landing page stating “Unboring. Uninsignificant. Undisposable” Introducting uncorporate gifting from Shinola” with a Shop Now button that directs users to Shinola.com/uncorporate
This is a nice example of using more than one website to promote a brand and to get a message across!
The bad thing… the Shop Now button links to http://www.shinola.com/uncorporate and comes up with a password protected message and doesn’t allow the user to see any of the watch products offered.
