JustinTV.com which has been under whois privacy for many years and has been registered since October 5, 1999 has come out of privacy and is showing Twitch Interactive, Inc. as the current owners. Justin.tv was renamed Twitch Interactive and was a popular service before being shut down around August 2014 to focus on Twitch.tv which Amazon Technologies acquired Twitch Interactive, Inc. in September 2014 for $970 Million. JustinTV.com redirects to Twitch.tv
EasyTrain.com appears to have acquired by Easy Group LTD on or about January 9, 2015 when the domain transferred from a Whois Watchdog in Shanghai China to Easy Group. The domain name has since transferred to CSC Corporate Domains.
Johnson & Johnson has registered several new domain names, all with a similar theme. Those domains include: EarlyTrial.com | .net MyEarlyTrial.com | .net, Early-Trial.com | .net and Early-Study.com | .net . EarlyStudy.com is currently listed for sale on Sedo with a Make Offer and is not owned by J&J according to whois records.
Disney has registered the domain names GoldieAndBear.com | .net . It was announces about February 23, 2015 by several sources that Goldie and Bear are slated to premier in fall 2015 on Disney Junior.
SixFlags.com has changed hosting providers from RackSpace to Akamai Technologies.
Pay.com which was acquired by Safecharge from Agents.com LLC on or about August 24, 2011 when whois records changed to Donelon Holdings Ltd with a pointa.org email address at GoDaddy. The domain then switched from Donelon Holdings Ltd to Safecharge on July 12, 2012 with the same registrant email address. Pay.com also changed hosting providers from DNS Made Easy to DYN. It appears that Safecharge is launching something new, as a new website is up with a “coming soon” message and states: Pay.com is the new digital wallet from SafeCharge.
Hasbro Inc. has acquired the domain name Micronauts.com from a Michele Dinoia of Italy, who had the domain registered at Epik.com and was using DnsLink.com. The domain name then transferred to Dynadot.com under privacy about April 17, 2015. I personally have been seeing this move to Dynadot as a holding place for MarkMonitor acquired domains a fair amount. By June 16, 2015 whois records revealed Hasbro Inc. as the registrant of the domain name when the domain transferred to MarkMonitor. The domain has since began redirecting to Hasbro.com.
My son plays with toys and watches shows of Octonauts, so this term jumped out at me. Octonauts is owned by Meomi Design Inc., and its creators Vicki Wong and Michael Murphy.

L Brands, Inc. which is a publicly traded company and hold several very popular brands like Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, PINK, La Senza and Henri Bendel acquired the two letter .com domain name LB.com on or about November 25, 2013 according to whois records with the help of CSC Corporate Domains. The domain was under privacy protection at Moniker.com at the time.
LBrands Inc. was then displayed in whois records starting about December 2, 2013 with a domainadmin@mast.com registrant email address and using ns1.lbidts.com name servers.
The company announced in 2013 that:
“a company name change to L Brands, Inc. from Limited Brands, Inc. as a requirement of the 2007 sale of Limited Stores”
then
“Announced a changed in the company’s stock ticker symbol to LB from LTD (effective Dec. 2, 2013)”
I have reached out to L Brands, Inc. for more information on acquiring the domain name and received the reply of “Please be advised that we will not disclose any financial information relating to the purchase of the LB.com domain name.”
Comlaude and Markmonitor teamed up in some fashion according to whois records to obtain the domain name IcebreakerGame.com for a likely unknown client. Both Comlaude and MarkMonitor’s DnStination Inc. appear in whois records recently when the domain came out of privacy protection at eNom.
Google Inc. has acquired the domain name PlayBingoBlast.com in some fashion. That domain name was also under whois privacy at eNom and came out after transferring to MarkMonitor and displaying Google Inc. as the owners. The domain name was registered on February 1, 2013 under privacy at eNom.
BingoBlast.com is owned by Hastings International B.V. and was registered in 1999 and is listed for sale at Sedo for $699 Buy Now. There is a live trademark for Bingo Blast and was filed July 31, 2013 by Xylomen Participations, S.a.r.l.
Doing more research, Red Hot Labs is listed as the owner of the Bingo Blast app in Google Play and Toro is a start-up that was originally known as Red Hot Labs. Google acquired Red Hot Labs / Toro as reported by TechCrunch.com in February 2015.
Microsoft Corporation registered the domain name CloudForTomorrow.net and the .com is owned by MarkMonitor client International Data Group, Inc. which registered it earlier this year on May 5, 2015.
MyLola.com has been acquired by a new start-up founded by Jordana Kier and Alexandra Friedman who are offering a modern approach to feminine care. The domain name was owned by BuyDomains.com and was transferred to Tucows under privacy protection on January 26, 2015. MyLola.com sold in 2005 for $202 on SnapNames and BuyDomains has owned the domain for the past 10 years and were the buyers on SnapNames according to whois records. The domain sold recently for $2,766 and was reported on 1/22/2015 to the current users.
The new start-up does call itself “Lola”. That EMD has been registered May 6, 1998 and is under privacy protection at Network Solutions and does not appear to be owned by the new start-up currently.
Atmosphere Commercial Interiors (Omni Workspace) which is a new company who purchased Target Commercial Interiors for reportedly less than $10 Million, hand registered the domain name AtmosphereCi.com to use as its main domain name on May 5, 2015 at GoDaddy. The domain is registered to a Dan Fry of TargetInteriors.com and a Katie Fehring of TciInteriors.com as well.
Vanguard Trademark Holdings USA LLC has secured the domain name EmerldClub.com and has begun redirecting the domain name to its Nation Car Rental ~ Emerald Club Loyalty Program. The domain has long been under privacy protection and was using DnsLink.com at the time. The domain transferred from Fabulous to MarkMonitor.
Discovery Communications, LLC registered several “Super Soul” domain names and they appear to relate to Oprah? The domains registered are: OprahsSuperSoul.com |.org OwnSuperSoul.com | .org SuperSoulDigital.com |.org SuperSoulNetwork.com |.org and SuperSoulSocial.com |.org . The domain name SuperSoul.com is owned by a Compurama at GoDaddy and has been registered since April 1, 1998.
Opel Special Vehicles GmbH registered the domain name WellnessInTheCar.com adding to its 1,200+ other domain names, one of which is Opel.com which is used as its main domain name to highlight its vehicles that are offered in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Latin America and Asia / Pacific.
Marksmen has assisted Hulu, LLC to acquire the domain name DifficultPeople.com, a domain name that was owned by B52 Media and Lonnie Borck. The domain was using DomainNameSales.com at the time of the transaction.
Pfizer Inc. registered 3 new domain names adding to its 6,000+ domain name portfolio. The domain domains are for its Chapstick brand and include BuyChapstick.com, ChapstickStore.com and ChapstickObsessed.com.
Casino.net which was owned by Epium Ltd of the UK has transferred from SafeNames to Name.com and put under privacy protection. Epium Ltd also owned Poker.net which I had reported may have also sold. Both domains were listed on Sedo at some point, but Casino.net was not at the time of the transfer.
NetDNA, LLC has acquired the domain name BandwidthHog.com in a transaction that was handled in some fashion at Sedo. The domain had a $1,288 price tag on Afternic but that listing still remains. The domain did have an expire date of May 15, 2015 and was in “Reactivation Period” at eNom according to whois history and then transferred to Sedo Transfer Service on June 16, 2015.
Stumbleupon Inc. registered the domain name BooksBooksBooks.co. NewsBuzz, Inc. owns the matching .com domain name and it is listed for sale at Sedo.
The Royal Bank Of Scotland Group Plc has sold the domain name 0800.com to Luc Biggs / Key Domains, which took place on July 9, 2015. By 7/10/2015 whois changed to william@dotmedia.com and an xz.com name server and transferring out of MarkMonitor to Uniregistry.
Bacardi & Company Limited has revealed they were the buyers of the domain name LiveTrue.com, which was acquired on May 7m 2013 according to whois records when the domain switched from a Cathy Follansbee to Matt Serlin and DnStination Inc.
Google Inc. has acquired the domain name SpiderCrunch.com according to whois records. The domain has been registered since August 19, 2009 and was owned by Douglas De Jager. Whois data has now switched to display Google Inc.
LinkedIn Corporation registered the domain name LinkedInProFinder.com adding to its domain name portfolio of about 900 domain names.
Gannett has acquired the York Daily Record and the domain name YDR.com has transferred ownership to Gannett. The release stated “Ydr.com, its flagship website, averages about 2.8 million page views a month and its Facebook page has more than 47,000 followers. Its high school sports site, GameTimePA.com, tops 1 million monthly page views. ”
