Here are the latest domain movers detected:
WP Company LLC (Washington Post) has registered the domain names Daily202.com and TheDaily202.com adding to its domain name portfolio of over 1,100 domain names.
XDM.org has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. client. The domain name was using DomainNameSales.com and also had a listing at Sedo at the time of the transaction with a buy it now for $4,800 but the Sedo listing still remains. Xdm.org has been registered since May 29, 2000.
MostWantedDomains.com has sold the domain name RockMyWorld.com for $20,000 as reported on the MWD Facebook page. The buyers are currently unknown as whois has yet to update to the buyers.
Celgene Corporation has acquired the domain name PsoriasisHelp.com, a domain name that was registered on July 9, 1999. Celgene owns nearly 2,000 domain names. The domain name was owned by BuyDomains and the transaction appears to have taken place at Afternic, as the domain went into Afternic Escrow.
Disney Enterprises, Inc. registered 3 new domain names and those include FrozenVillage.com, PrincessEsabo.com and DisneyPrincessEsabo.com . Frozen 2 names?
Spence Communications has acquired the domain name TheArena.org from BuyDomains.com with the help of SafeNames.com. The domain has been registered since January 15, 2004.
GoDaddy.com has sold the domain names SeeYouLater.com, PerfumeClub.com and DigitalWare.com. All of the domain names were part of the Marchex domain name portfolio that GoDaddy acquired.
E Entertainment Television, LLC registered the domain names IamCaitlyn.com / .net on June 1, 2015. They have also registered IamCait.com / .net. IamCait.tv has also been registered at MarkMonitor but is using generic whois data.
Yahoo! registered the domain name Luminate-LLC.com and then the domain was put under privacy protection.
Shimer.com has been acquired from a Neil Melliship by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client. The domain name has been registered since April 21, 1998.
Shutterfly, Inc. has registered the domain name TripPixApp.com. TripPix.com is owned by AOL Inc.
Consumer Source Holdings LLC (Rent.com) has acquired the domain name TotallyLegit.com from a James Oewm of SEOableDomains. They are using the term in a recently release advertisement. They have also filed a TM on the Totally Legit term. I did reach out to James but did not get a reply.
Ciena Corporation has registered the domain name PrivateIsBetter.com adding to its 75 other domain names.
Paris Presents Incorporated with the help of CSC Corporate Domains secured the domain name BoldMetals.com via DropCatch.com. The domain was registered at GoDaddy prior to expiring and being released from the registry.
British Broadcasting Corporation acquired the domain name BritWit.com from BuyDomains.com. The domain name has been registered since December 20, 2003. The domain name had a “price request” on BD but had a listing price elsewhere, which was $4,241.20
ConnectedPOS.com has been acquired by Wirecard Technologies AG. The domain name was owned by a Michael Cassity of Biz Marketing Pros and was using CashParking at the time of registrant change. Also according to whois records, Michael obtained the domain name in early 2013 when the domain name was “Repossessed by Go Daddy”, which means the domain name was renewed by the past owners at the time and a likely chargeback took place on the renew, so GoDaddy pulls the domain back and lists the domains for sale at GoDaddy Auctions.
Microsoft Corporation has registered the domain name MicrosoftPyme.com /.net and also CoalitionStudio.com / .net
Twitter, Inc. has registered several new domain names including: TwitterHeron.com and several “official partner” domains like TwitterOfficialPartner.com, TwitterOfficialPartnerProgram and TwitterOfficialPartners.com for an example. Twitter did file a trademark for “Official Partner” on May 15, 2015 for “Promoting the products and services of others by providing advertisements and links to websites of others”
TIME INC. (UK) LTD. registered the domain name DailyCurve.net with eNom (not the common registrar for the company). They currently appear not to own the .com, as it’s using CashParking at GoDaddy and is under whois privacy and has been for awhile.
Land O Lakes, Inc. registered the domain name Flocktober.com adding to it domain name portfolio of about 800 domain names. They have also started redirecting the premium domain name Baking.com to its main website.
Google Inc. has acquired the domain name Campus.co from a Jimmy Chen of Genie Capital. The domain name has been registered since August 31, 2010. They currently do not own Campus.com.
The Dow Chemical Company registered the domain name GoodToGoGetaway.com. Washington State Department of Transportation owns the domain GoodToGo.com, which they acquired June 5, 2012 according to whois history records.
Visa International Service Association (Visa.com) has registered the domain name VisaPlaybook.com
Viacom International Inc. has acquired the domain name WeAreLovers.com, a domain name that has been registered since February 21, 2006 and was owned by a M Raz and parked with SedoParking. The domain sold for $1,200.
Google? A currently unknown company using generic whois data at MarkMonitor under DNStination Inc. registered several new domain names that relate to each other and contain: CardboardPlayThings.com, CorrugatedFun.com, CorrugatedImagination.com, CorrugatedPlay.com, CorrugatedPlayThings.com, CorrugatedToys.com, PaperBasedPlay.com, PaperBasedToys.com and PaperMadeToys.com
Google Cardboard comes to mind when seeing those domain names and Google uses corporate domain registrar MarkMonitor.
Time Inc. registered the domain name PeoplePositivity.com adding to its domain name portfolio of over 9,000 domain names.
The Quaker Oats Company has acquired the domain name OvernightOats.com from HugeDomains.com, which they acquired in an expired domain name auction at GoDaddy Auctions around February 3, 2015. The domain name then sold at Afternic on May 28, 2015. The Quaker Oats Company also registered the domain name QuakerOvernightOats.com.
Johnson & Johnson registered the domain names JointDecision.net / .org but currently do not own JointDecision.com which is owned by BuyDomains.com and currently listed for sale for $2,088. J&J did acquire JointDecisions.com on April 28, 2015 as I reported in an earlier article. To note, J&J filed a trademark for the matching term on September 25, 2014. Abbott Laboratories owns the domain name JointDecisions.net / org / info /biz / us and has since 2011. Johnson and Johnson are launching a new website on the domain in partnership with Megan Park as announced in a PR on June 3, 2015. The website is about Rheumatoid arthritis.
Koninklijke Philips N.V. has acquired the domain name DreamMapper.com from HugeDomains.com. The domain has been registered since June 14, 2012
MLB Advanced Media, L.P. registered the domain names MLBAwards.com and MLBExtravaganza.com adding to its domain name portfolio of over 4,300+ domain names.
Starbucks Corporation registered the domain name StarbucksLab.com adding to its 2,100+ domain names they own.
