JoinTheFlock.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain was owned by a Arvind Reddy and was parked using Sedo.com. The domain has been registered since November 23, 2005. Twitter uses the term to recruit workers but other companies use the term as well.
Bayer AG has acquired the domain name Kilena.com which had a $2,000 listing price. The domain has been registered since September 6, 2005 and was owned by WebContents, Inc and was using Voodoo parking at the time of the transaction.
Ploom.com has changed registrants to JT International S.A. according to whois records from a DIMA MARTIROSYAN. The domain has been registered since January 9, 2000 and was a website prior. The domain name is redirecting to PaxVapor.com as is Pax.com which was recently acquired for $200,000 in April 2015 at Sedo.
It appears that Ploom was a vaporizer startup and JTI took a minority stake in the company in 2011 according to this inc.com article. In a February 16, 2015 news release, JTI announced they acquired Ploom Inc.
Microsoft has registered several new domain names and some of those include: MicrosoftForward.com / .net, several “DE” term domains like DeTrafficManager.com/.net, DECloudApp.com/.net, DeCloudDataHub.com, DeAzureHDInsight.com / .net, DeAzure-Mobile.com /.net and DeMicrosoftOnline-p-Int.com /.net
MLB Advanced Media, L.P. has registered the domain name ThrowingBack.com to add to its domain name portfolio of over 4,000 domain names.
Medical Teams International has acquired the domain name MedicalTeam.org from BuyDomains. They also own the plural domain MedicalTeams.org and use that as its main domain name, so it was a wise purchase as plural terms can often lead to some visiting the singular term and some the plural.
Paypal.com has changed hosting providers. Paypal owns over 2,300 domain names with eBay owning over 12,500! eBay and Paypal and eBay are in the process of becoming two separate companies.
Novartis AG has registered the domain name FluRely.com adding to its domain name portfolio of over 14,300 domain names.
Mozilla Corporation has become the owners in whois for FoxYeah.com. The domain name was registered on October 13, 2014 at GoDaddy.com under whois privacy and has since transferred to MarkMonitor. There is a fairly good chance that Mozilla registered the domain at GoDaddy to “hide” the domain registration. They have set domain name servers to a hosting provider, so they are likely getting ready to launch a site on the domain soon.
MatchGift.com has changed registrants from American National Red Cross to AmeriGives, Inc. AmeriGives is a complete corporate philanthropy services company supporting workplace giving, matching gifts, volunteerism and other programs according to its website.
AmeriGives appears to be owned by the Red Cross, as they own the trademark for the term AmeriGives.
SJ.com has changed ownership according to whois records from Hangzhou Duomai E-Commerce Co.,Ltd to zuqinghu with an Admin5.com email address. Centercall Deutschland GmbH had owned the domain until about December 12, 2014 when a LinYu shows up in whois and the domain transferred to eName.com. The domain has had several owners in 2015 according to whois records with Jack. Shen showing up 1/4/2015 and xucaijun of Hangzhou Duomai E-Commerce Co.,Ltd showing up 1/5/2015.
SoftwareRepository.com has been acquired by domain name buy service CSC Corporate Domains from a Douglas Peters from South Dakota for a currently unknown CSC client. Whois records currently show “The Negotiator Agency, Inc.” which is a name I have seen before, that is used by CSC.
Conill (ad agency) registered the domain name RetestYourTest.com on behalf of Abbott on April 30, 2015 at GoDaddy.com.
TinyUrl, LLC took TinyURL.com for a hosting change and started using CloudFlare to join over 770,753 other domains using the service.
ShoppingCart.com has changed ownership from “Juggle.com” / ClicableNames.com to Web.com LLC according to whois records. The domain name transferred from Network Solutions to Register.com and now redirects to 1ShoppingCart.com which is a site owned by Web.com.
Sony Pictures has acquired the domain name TheGetDown.com from BuyDomains.com. The domain name has been registered since January 8, 2005 and had a $3,488 listing price.
To note: a crazy amount of “movie” domains are registered every week!
Hangzhou Duomai E-Commerce Co.,Ltd has acquired the domain names 2026.com, 3772.com, 843.com, BQD.com, WYZ.com and YNX.com. The list continues with DKZ.com, DQN.com, DYJ.com QXK.com and TNQ.com
They have sold the domain names: CX.com, 2316.com, Dufu.com and UQD.com
Fyoa.com has been acquired by a currently unknown MarkMonitor client with whois showing the generic DnStination Inc. The domain was using Sedo Parking and had a listing price of $1,500.
uCaring.com has been acquired by iFolio LLC from a Mo Bjornestad of Carlsbad, CA. There is the following message upon visiting the domain name:
“To avoid confusion with a similar website name we have accepted their offer and we are advising users, partners, and visitors of the change. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. We have accepted the inconvenience and loss of identity caused by changing our name from uCaring.com to ManagedGroups.com. Please find us at ManagedGroups.com, we will transfer your registration and data to the new name when we switch over.”
To note: the website YouCaring.com has recently went into privacy protection at GoDaddy instead of showing YouCaring Dot Com LLC and the website has also been recently went an upgrade of design. It is not known if this was the “similar website” mentioned on uCaring.com, or if ownership has changed for YouCaring.com with the recent switch to whois privacy.
Creston plc registered the domain names AffinityUnlimited.com |.net |.org on 5/17/2015. The reason I provided the date, well because it was a Sunday.
FalloutShelter.com has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain was under whois privacy protection at Uniregistry, but came out with “The Business Centre” with an email address of “INFO@ABSTRACT.BB”. It is not know if they were the buyers or the sellers.
Bethsoft / ZeniMax Media Inc. launched a new game called Fallout Shelter at E3 2015 and ZeniMax is a CSC client and is a potential buyer. They own over 300+ domain names and owns several valuable ones as well, that include Rage.com, Prey.com, EnemyTerritory.com and many more.
Doable.com has been acquired by Doable Innovation, LLC and they purchased the domain name from ClosetMaid Corporation. The domain name has transferred from CSC Corporate Domains to GoDaddy.com.
The company filed for a trademark on the term “doable” on January 12, 2015. DoableInnovation.com is a password protected site and that domain was registered on December 12, 2014 and is using Amazon hosting.
Although the site is password protected, I was able to dig up the following: “Doable is a new way to connect everyone at Staging Company around our Quest and to get your help to make it an even more innovative and fun place to work.”
PathDefender, owners of TrustedSite.com has acquired the domain name TrustedSites.com from Vertical Axis. The domain name is redirecting to TrustedSite.com with a source tracker on the redirect to show the amount of traffic coming in from the plural domain.

Great list once again. It appears that Chinese buyers and sellers are absolutely dominating the short domain market. It will be very interesting to see where the prices of NNNN.coms and LLL.coms for an example are in a year.
