One of the things about domain investors is they like rare domains, a repeating three letter .com certainly falls into that category, only 26 of them and one sold today on NameJet. VVV.com sold for $136,400.
The bidding went back and forth between members VVVcom and First, in the end First won the name at $136,400
There were six bidders who bid $100,000 or more. A total of 515 bids.

The wholesale side of the domain industry is in an asset bubble.

back and forth bidding went on for 30 minutes after that $100k bid.
Not much action from royhhh and dashu007.
“first” always wins these nnn.com and LLL.com auctions.
“first” had just won another nnn.com auction i was watching just minutes before he won this vvv.com
i am assuming “vvvcom” was end user who had no chance against big baller “first”
congrats to Andrew!!!

Nice sale. Congrats to the seller and buyer. BTW, I heard a 4-digit numeric dot com domain sold for around USD 170,000 late last year. Does anybody have any idea about this deal? Thanks.
