Interesting. Not sure about the 60% renewal rate as these new gTLDs have some decidedly ccTLD characteristics. The exclusion of the freebies is a mistake as they can actually have an over zero renewal rate. There’s a lock-in renewal rate (premiums going to multi-year renewals after first year) that could make an appearance in 2015.
