.Desi which went into general availability yesterday wound up with just 324 registrations according to ntldstats.com.
.NYC which is still having uncontested landrush applications to the zone file, (we had mentioned we knew they had not all been added), added another 1,440 landrush domains and now sits at just over 6K registrations.
.NYC goes into general availability tomorrow October 8th and those landrush applications that we estimate to be in the many thousands are not counted in the totals.
In other new gTLD news we wrote about .Attorney and .Lawyer yesterday, which also goes into GA tomorrow.
Each extension picked up pretty impressive gains still in the EAP 5 with people paying around $100 more for early access.
.Lawyer picked up 269 domain name registrations and now sits at 409 while .Attorney picked up 238 registrations and sits at 372.
.OVH which is an open brand has more than 48,000 registrations. We will have to add this one to our caveats when we look at the overall new gTLD number of registrations which now sits at 2,587,041.
We haven’t chatted about .Rich for a while but they have now crept up to 46 registrations which at a retail cost of somewhere around $3K is equivalent to 300 registrations that cost $10 a piece.
.Brussels which is in an early registration period already has over 1,300 registrations and .Melbourne which is in Landrush has 857 registrations.
