Dolphin.org just crossed the Sedo sales tape as sold at $45,000. This is the highest .org sale of 2014, year to date.

The domain was registered in 1994 and had been owned by a Miles Fawcett of SAI Comm.

The domain is currently parked and the whois is currently Sedo.

Congrats to the seller.

“This is the highest .org sale of 2014, year to date.”

Damn, I was hoping we might sell Chicken.org for more than that this year.

…to whom? Do-Not-Kill-Chicken activist group? Chicken is not Dolphin, stupid!

The original post had said, “This will be the highest .org sale of 2014…” and I had quoted it that way, with my comment making sense in light of Raymond’s admitted ability to foresee the future. With the post edited to retract that admission and my comment edited as well, it no longer makes sense…

Oh sorry Jon, I saw my mistake in the dashboard and corrected it, then read the comment, I thought you were just using the quote to mention you hoped to sell Chicken.org for more, not making the joke about my crystal ball. Mentioning your name was fine in the context of the post. Sorry for the confusion.

No problem, Raymond. Thanks for excellent posts here.

In any case, congrats to the seller and, now that I have read the Comment Policy (which I should have done before), sorry if I shouldn’t have mentioned one of our domains.
