The domain name Mobile.co has just been hit with a UDRP.
The domain was registered in February, 2010 but was just transferred to the current holder in March 2014.
The domain is not currently resolving.
The domain was a comparison shopping site back 2012 but became a parked domain according to Screenshots.com in 2013.

Is mobile.co.uk (sold twice in the past) the next one?
Xavier Lemay-Castonguay says
According to this. .mobi registry and all .words should hit udrp!
Lots of end user could dream about taking the ownership of this domain name.
Shame!

mobile.com forwards to AT&T website, so will the complainant also be going after that one? Or is the complainant AT&T because they are ‘using’ the .com?
Either way, surely there should be some sort of screening process where a URDP complaint is immediately refused in cases such as this where the domain is a clear cut generic term with multiple uses across the world?
Michael Berkens says
AT&T got the domain name Mobile.com when they acquired Cingular Wireless in 2009.
Cingular Wireless owned the domain for many years and before that Pacific Bell PCS owned the domain

All / everyone should move assets from parked pages making a significant financial impact on sedo – dns ……. others forcing these groups to act as one voice in there own interests. One or 100,000 domain assets the duty of care does not stop at transferring the risk.

Just saw Mobile.co sell to the current owner for 15K in March. A shame it got hit with a udrp. I hope the current owner wins the case. It’s a generic keyword term. If AT&T is the one filing the udrp and they want it, they need to buy it. They do not own the word mobile, and hopefully the judges realize that.
