Our friends at Radix are looking to hire a Registrar Partner Manager.
As a Registrar Partner Manager, you will be responsible for our partners in the US, Canada and Latin America. Your job is to a) ensure a wide distribution network in the local market and b) evolve those channel relationships into strategic partnerships. The job involves frequent travel and road-trips across your region to ensure that you build a good working relationship and rapport with our partners.
Your responsibilities will involve:
• Establishing & managing relationships with all strategic partners (registrars)
• Representing Radix at all international industry events that take place in the United States, Canada, Latin America and other parts of the world
• Track market movements, growth dynamics
• Set and measure performance goals for all partners, incentivize and run campaigns to help achieving them
• Garner deep involvement and support from all partners, for all sales promotions programs and co-marketing activities
• Deploy marketing budgets for partners, track and measure ROI
• Plan road-trips across the region to meet all partners on a regular basis

Radix is looking for someone who:
- Is an exceptional communicator – blessed with the gift of gab, the candidate should possess superior written and verbal communication skills
- Is a sales shark – must possess superior powers of persuasion
- Possess strong business acumen – born to do business, you should be able to sense long-term, strategic business opportunities and have an instinctive ability to place the winning ‘bets’
- Is High Analytical and Data driven – While creative and instinctive, he/she never ignores the role that research, data and numbers play in the decision making process
- Has a Penchant for technology – You need not be a coder or a geek, but should be an early-adopter of the latest in social media, gizmos, software and apps.
- A go-getter – Able to thrive in an environment where one is given tremendous freedom, flexibility and independence.
- Is a people’s person – a natural conversationalist, always makes for enjoyable company and is effortlessly able to cut through social and cultural differences
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in client servicing/account management/strategic partnership role, in a B2B environment, in the IT/internet space. Preferred experience in the domains/hosting industry
- Education: MBA from a top b-school preferred
- International Exposure: Vast experience in building partnerships with clients / partners globally, and dealing with international business development activities
Radix is an initiative to globally operate 29 new, top level domains including .web, .music, .blog, and .shop, as a part of ICANN’s project to open new, meaningful internet addresses. Radix is India’s and Asia’s largest newgTLD applicant under this program, and expects to play a large role in the global diversification of the internet namespace.
The company recently passed initial evaluation and has met the required business, technology and operations capabilities to operate a new gTLD at the global level.
We have already successfully launched .pw – the professional web, and will soon be launching .in.net, as a new domain name extension targeting India. Over the next few months, Radix will also begin marketing its three uncontested extensions; .press, .host and .space.
