In an email sent out this morning by the organizers of the TRAFFIC conference, the Florida TRAFFIC conference will be held for the first time on a weekend, at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach from October 30th, until, November 2nd, 2014 with cabana networking starting on the 29th.

“This will be our first weekend show and the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Premiere Party promises to be a spectacular Halloween Masquerade Ball.”

“The Hotel is working with us to provide a program for families of all ages, so we will be encouraging everyone to bring their kids for magical Trick or Treats and other full-time activities.”

The organizers also released more information about T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Las Vegas which will be held  from May 28th to May 31st at the Bellagio Hotel with the cabana networking starting on the 27th.

T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Las Vegas will have a No Reserve gTLD auction with domains released directly from the registries plus 18 gTLD proponents representing as many as 2/3 of all the new extensions will be offered 5 minutes of podium time to pitch their new extensions to those that are interested.

“Here are some of the things we will cover and as you can see most of which are universal no matter what extension you might focus on:

How to build an ecommerce site to develop into a business from your best domains while increasing the value. Concept to live in 9 days.

How to find willing partners to develop your raw domains into thriving businesses.

Fishing for whales or fishing for minnows. Same work, same time, different outcomes.

How do you buy a domain that stands directly in the crossroads of the future?

Mining for domains or mining for Bitcoins? With so many opportunities how do you pick a path?

Gtld

Quicksand or gold?

Horse race or stampede?

The most honest, direct and comprehensive debate and conversation about where the future leads.

There will be plenty of room in the fabric of the Internet for alternate extensions IF the public and end user accepts them and there is something of value for them there. Those are all open questions and the answers in the next few months will begin to reveal themselves. We will discuss those revelations and what they mean regardless of where the answers lead.

In 2004, we were an unknown factor looking to take on a world stage and make the case why domain names were such a powerful and important business tool that was essential going into the future. In 2014 there is no question that domain names will lead the news and the way forward.

Welcome to the future.

Domains have gone from the obscure to center stage and Domain Investors like us have been there each and every step of the way.

Your expertise will have great value going forward. I dream of one day asking a CEO “What is their “Domain Strategy?” and instead of that glazed over eye look, being directed to their “Chief Domain Name Strategist”.

“If you read this far and have not purchased your Las Vegas Tickets for $1495 (that includes 2 nights at the #1 Rated Bellagio Hotel. Less taxes, fees and personal expenses) we are delighted to offer our special Airport Pickup Service just for signing up this week that will whisk you from the airport to the Bellagio Entrance. And for those companies bringing 5 or more employees, we have a special just for you. Just contact Howard with your requirements.”

“Lastly, sponsorships are now on sale as well. They start at just $1000. Pricing is more attractive than ever. That is the only part of our formula that has changed and you will be delighted with the new price points.”
