Heritage Auctions which ran its first successful domain auction a few months back is currently running an auction in Florida (non – domain related). Aron Meystedt mentioned HA.com is having a big auction in Florida this week called F.U.N. There are a few of the worlds’ most valuable US coins in the auction.
Some of these results are just WOW
I think this shows that the buying power Heritage has is pretty big and if they can gradually get more and more people interested in domains then Aron is on to something big.

Not really domain news.

Well Heritage is the 3rd largest auction house in the US and now has moved into the domain name auction business so its worth keeping an eye on.
Moreover HA is going to even get more involved in the domain space.
Many also consider domains to be like other rare assets like coins and paintings remarkable that a small coin most wouldn’t bother to pick up if they saw it laying on the street would fetch $5M
Besides at thedomains.com we cover more than just pure domain stories including in the past 30 days, Bitcoin, Google and other Internet advertising news.

Raymond, Michael Thank you for such informative posts.
I wanted to add that Heritage Auctions owns several hundred domains related to coin collecting, collecting, in general, auctions, art, antiques etc. They’ve had a presence in the internet for many years, they started with heritageauctions.com and then changed to HA.com. They have a superb software system for coin collectors and an auction platform that is just awesome. They have refined the software over the years, as only somebody who understands the business can do. (This alone is worth millions!!!)
They are just entering the domain auction and sale market, and they are definitely a company worth watching. They recruited Aron Meystedt, who is a very knowledgeable and capable domain name investor (He owns symbolics.com, the first and oldest domain, is that cool or what???) I will, be watching and learning.
Keep up the “Excellent” work.
Cheers!
