Despite trying to tell you guys that a registry is a different business than being domain name registrant you still don’t get it.
As a registry .biz is doing great.
The have over 2,000,000 registrations at a whole cost of over $6 its over $12 Million in revenue.
You wouldn’t like to own that business?
I’m sure .buzz would be popping bottles if they would have the registration volume that .biz does

@Michael B
If you Wiki “Neustar”, you’ll see that they do a lot more than just .BIZ. In fact, if they do only make around 12 million or so off of .BIZ, that’s a cute little portion of their total income.

By the way, why is the price of .BUZZ so high? $34.95, which is 40% off their retail price… which would mean their retail is $58.25. With so many gTLDs, there are going to be too many choices for these high prices… although I guess they only need 206,008 registrations at the retail price to reach that “12 million dollar” mark. :/

The .buzz registry set the price where they set it.
There are a lot of new gTLD registries that have priced their domains wholesale at $20 or more even hundreds of dollars
