Manwin Operator of YouPorn.com Renames Itself To MindGeek & Buys MindGeeks On Sedo For $3,500

According to xBiz.com,  Manwin which operates some of the most visited adult websites in the world including YouPorn.com, RedTube.com, Pornhub.com and Tube8.com to name a few has been re-named to MindGeek.

“Manwin.com now links to MindGeek.com, a site that calls the company an international information technology firm, specializing in highly trafficked websites.”

The company which is said to use be one of the top five bandwidth consumption companies in the world, acquired the domain name of its new company MindGeeks.com, back in July for $3,500 through Sedo.com

XBIZ says that employees at the company were notified on Friday of the name change.”

Another example of a company locking in and buying a low priced Buy It Now

    Wow.

    If this was just another buyer, then $3500 would be plenty for that domain but when a multi-national -multi-million dollar company buys it, WOW… seller left a lot of money on the table.

    So, to price with buy it now or to not price with buy it now?

    If the domain was priced higher or they seller played hardball the buyer would have just moved on to another name.

    No bin. Allways wait for buyers to come asking price instead of blinding selling domains with bogus fixed prices. Sure you will sell more with bin prices but you will leave most of the money on the table and part of it will be eaten by the middle guy that loves to collect his fees. If a buyer is realy interested he will try to negociate, unless you ask insane prices 🙂
