A couple of sales of note crossed the Sedo.com sales wire this morning.
The domain name CBS.de sold for 22,015 Euro’s or around $30,000.
The CBS of course is one of the four Major Television broadcast networks in the United States but can stand for thousands of other things as well.
.De is the ccTLD for Germany.
It will be interesting to see who the buyer of the domain is.
On another note the domain name Meetings.co.uk sold for just 800 GBP or around $1,200
Its a bang on domain name and to see it sell for less than a lot of domains with absolutely no meaning its pretty shocking.
Although I’m not a .co.uk investor it seems like one of the bargains of the year.
In another transaction the domain name hack vanil.la for $1,600, which of course is a ccTLD .LA domain.

I am UK based. I agree the meetings.co.uk price sounds like a victim of someone who was desperate for cash.

I have sold lots of co.uk domains and I have to agree with Mike
this is the bargain of the year.
Lots of domainer’s are getting scared with all these new gTLDs
coming out!!
