A few days ago the Nationaljournal.com wrote a story about political domainer Michael Deutsch who has over 1,800 domain names including naturalcondom.com to yankeestadium.com to drinkmilk.com to stemcellresearch.com.
Today MSNBC did on air interview for over 5 minutes with Mr. Deutsch about his domain activities.

He must be the oldest domainer alive :)… and has very good taste and foresight.

The scroll at one point reads “Buying Political Domain Names can be a Lucrative Endeavor”

I will stick with owning domains like CapitolHill.com and ArmedServices.com rather than buying 4 trillion pope domains or whatever.
YankeeStadium.com and StemCellResearch.com are real gems though
Phil McK says
Portfolio isn’t overly strong though, nothing immediately jumps out at me anyway.

YankeeStadium.com would be lost to a UDRP

I owned FenwayPark.com which was trademarked like yankee stadium, and the guy I sold it to gave it to MLB when their lawyers called. I wounder why they did not go after yankeestadium.com?
BrianWick says
Exactly Michael – that is why this guy has the “real gems” most of us have dropped years ago – quite a web entrepreneur – yes ?
And I see StemCell(s).com worth serious dough where Stem Cell Research might sound good – but who would buy it for branding purposes
” I wounder why they did not go after yankeestadium.com?”
They will eventually – maybe they will go to civil court and clean him out with ACPA – and they should.

He also owns the trademark infringing typos MickeyMoose.com and MinnieMoose.com. Hilarious!

Interesting. And he pitched a few names. Good on him.
I sold TheHill.tv to The Hill newspaper years ago, and they have yet to change the DNS.
And, I own Dodgertown.net (its a geo -zipcode and all, and I bought it before the Dodgers got a TM -had it for years with no problems).
