According to a press release we received this morning, 123-reg, the UK’s largest accredited domain registrar, has today announced that it has entered into a strategic agreement with Google to become a Premier SME Partner (PSP) of Google’s AdWordsTM advertising programme in the UK.
“As a PSP, 123-reg will gain access to Google’s training and support, to provide an end-to-end AdWords account management service for its customers.
“AdWords is a cost effective, efficient way for businesses of all sizes to advertise their products and services at exactly the time their customers are looking for them. Using the pay-per-click (PPC) model, businesses can select and bid on keywords related to what they are selling and pay only when an interested user clicks on their advert. Advanced targeting options, customisable adverts, and detailed reporting enable advertisers to evaluate the benefits and performance of their cost-per-click advertising efforts.
“Thomas Vollrath, CEO of 123-reg’s parent company, Host Europe Group, said: “The power of Google for promoting businesses is undeniable. For many small businesses, Google AdWords is the biggest single source of website visitors. Although it’s a simple platform, and most website owners are now familiar with how Google’s AdWords works, regular updates and improvements can make it a challenge to keep up with. Indeed, many SMEs lack the time and expertise to get the most out of it.”
“By partnering with Google, we have greatly strengthened our PPC offering, making it easier for our customers to harness the benefits of AdWords – while allowing them to get on with running their businesses. In doing so, we can make sure customers are found the moment a search is relevant to their offerings, by being constantly visible on AdWords,” he concluded.
