80  more new gTLD applications have passed ICANN Initial Evaluation (IE) today.

One application .Pay  did not pass IE but was made eligible for Extended Evaluation, that applicant was made by DOTPAY SA, whose contact is listed as Ms. Liz Williams from Sedari.com.

In all ICANN is has now completed Initial Evaluation on applications up to prioritization number 600 with 518 being passed or placed into Extended Evaluation

One application of note that passed today that was previous passed over was that for .Music filed by Constantinos Roussos company, DotMusic / CGR E-Commerce Ltd.

Some other applications of note passing IE today include the .brand applications for .Amex, .Nike, .Fox, .Polo, .Java, .HomeDepot, .News Corp’s application for .Fox.

Other noteworthy application passing IE was the application for .Arab filed by the League of Arab States and .Doha  which is the capital city of Qatar which is hosting the World Cup in 2022.
