Escrow.com just launched its re-designed site.
Its not only the design that has changed but more information and features are now available.
Andee Hill of Escrow.com, shared some of the new features with us:
“”The big upgrade to our services is our Milestone Transactions.
These were previously named Professional Service Transactions and had limitations.
The Milestone Transactions will allow Escrow.com to secure the full amount for a project and then release predetermined amounts to the seller upon milestones being triggered.
This will be great during more complex transactions.
For instance, you are remodeling your kitchen and want to pay the contractor an amount when the 1) demo is done, 2)appliances are delivered, 3) cabinets and counters installed, 4) and a final payment when all the finish work was done.
Another great use would be the sale of an online business where items may transfer to the buyer at different times like a domain, customer database, trademark, toll free number, etc.
Every page has the header and footer and offers our the login option and phone at the top of every page.
“We often get users wanting to verify who we are.
We feel that disclosing the company leaders, customer stories, license information and our partners will help this verification process.”
We have given a detail about who we are in the about us section, https://www.escrow.com/why-escrowcom/about-us.aspx
We have a partner section at https://www.escrow.com/why-escrowcom/partners.aspx
We are excited about these changes.”
Escrow.com is a great company and we at MostWantedDomains.com have used them since they started to process thousands of domain name transactions.
As a matter of disclosure, Escrow.com is the exclusive partner for RightOfTheDot.com, to hold funds in escrow for deposits and clearing of private new gTLD auctions.

They should think about domain names leasing too.

How do we log into the new site, used to be email, now it’s a username?
Francois Carrillo says
Congrats for the redesign, it’s really nicer.
And the improvement you release looks interesting.
…
I am wondering how you can escrow things so difficut like home improvement.
With domains, it’s binary, the domain has changed ownership or no?
But how do you check “cabinets and counters installed”?
Except it’s the client who must check and confirm the milestone has been completed.
Also what happen when the client estimate the contractor did not installed the counter correctly, the work has been done, even if not perfect, and probably impossible to remove the counter without destroy it which means a loss for the contractor.
All this looks really much more difficult to escrow than domain sales 😉

Thanks to continue supporting Domaining.com

Escrow.com has been accepting domain leasing contracts under our Domain Name Holding transactions for years.
User name is still your password
Escrow.com has been handling non-domain escrows since 1999. Delivery determination depends on the item. This is set up by the buyer and seller. Any issues with the product or service can be negotiated and then the escrow can be adjusted.

At last!
Better late than never.
@Brands-and-Jingles
You can use Epik.com for leasing: I don’t like them because they force you to transfer the domains to them immediately if you want list your domains for lease, but at least they are moving, they are making something.
All the others, Escrow for instance, have never done anything and are not doing practically anything even now for the leasing model.

Yes, username is still your email address.
Yes, escrow.com will be handling JointVentures transactions.
