32 objections on new gTLD applications filed with the International Centre For Dispute Resolution, based string confusion, are now reflected on their website.
The objection process is part of the ICANN new gTLD program.
Some of the objections as we noted a couple of weeks ago were filed by Verisign,Inc. who is up objecting to 13 new gTLD applications including:

Verisign Switzerland SA objected to 3 new gTLD applications
Google objected to 9 new gTLD applications including one’s for .Kids, .Homes, .Games and .Cars
Google has made an application with ICANN for the singular new gTLD’s of .Kid, Home, .Game and .Car
The SX registry which operates the .Sx, ccTLD for St. Maarten objected to one of the two applications for .Sex and one for .Sexy by Uniregistry. .Sx did not object to the application for the new gTLD of .Sex filed by ICM the registry for .XXX.
The Government of Montenegro which has the .Me ccTLD, objected to Google’s application for .meme
Web.com objected to .Webs

Google objecting to generic strings like .Kids, .Homes, .Games and .Cars is absurd.
Oh no, they might be deprived of their monopoly if they are not allowed to own generic terms.

With the advent of the new gTLDS being introduced, its effect will severely impact the Search Engine Marketing Sector. According to MIT (Mass. Inst.Tech.) type-In traffic will be expanded rapidly and will be common place. Consumers are very reluctant to change and there are studies to prove that they will avoid doing business on a non-.COM site. This splintering and dividing of the Search Engine Market bodes well for a brilliant future, for Pure Play Generic .COM Profit Centers. M I T foresees Type-Ins, We foresee a seachange shift into .COM Profit Centers.
