A busy weekend over at NameJet.com, saw a few “better” LLL.com domain names sell this weekend and a 2 letter .net as a good call to action type of domain.
What did all four domain names have in common?
They were all drop domain names.
The domain name DML.com sold for $13,100. The auction which had 102 bidders saw 7 willing to pay $5K or more for the domain name.
The domain DML.com was a dropping domains from Network Solutions whose previous owner was Digital Magic Labs, Inc. out of Japan
Another three letter .com, TPW.com sold for $10,655 was also a drop domain name that used to be owned by Thacher, Proffitt & Wood of NY
Yet another dropping domain from Network Solutions, MB.net sold for $7,100
The domain used to be owned by Sociedade Interbancaria de Servicos, S.A. of Lisbon.
Finally a really good domain name, ReallyGood.com sold for $8,322.
This domain name was also a dropped domain, previously owned by FlyinHi Airlines o Hawaii
That’s over $40K in assets four former owners lost without any compensation when they failed to simply renew their domain name for a combined cost of $140.
Ouch.
