We haven’t heard much since Federal and State law enforcement raided the offices of National A-1 in October 2010.
At the time we noted that one of National A-1 sites, escorts.com might have been the subject of the probe and it now appears that both Escort.com and Escorts.com, both owned by National A1, are offline.
Both Sites now return a white page with only these words appearing on top:
“”This Domain is Not in Use“”
Escorts.com has an Alexa ranking in the US of 75K and received according to Compete as many as 202,000 unique visitors a month (June down to 38,000)
Escort.com received much less traffic maxing out over the last year at 13K visitors according to Compete.com
So it appears maybe in reaction to government action, or otherwise National A-1 has taken both sites offline.
I guess we will have to see what happens to the domain names in the future.

The 2257 law(s) give government another tentacle to wrap around your throat if they wish. National A-1 may have just decided it was’nt worth the hassle…considering their other business interests.It’s tough enough keeping records on file for porn movies they did’nt even shoot.I know that in Vegas…local government frowns upon even so much as using the word “escort” in ads.Too bad nobody wants to pay a 1st amendment lawyer.There’s an interesting case here.

oddly – the same escort stuff happens at facebook – but obviously under the radar i guess.
“cheap” is surely better than “3D” 🙂
The U.S. Gov’t again shoving their morality down our throats.
Nobody in this world should be able to tell me I can’t have a prostitute, smoke pot, do any drug for that matter under the sun, go gambling, or have 236 wives.
The U.S. population has moved ahead in their thinking while the U.S. Gov’t is still thinking in a 1940’s mindset, since these overbearing powers behoove the notion that there is money in enforcing “morality”.

If there was a vote today that was not gamed, most folks would legalize drugs, prostitution, and gambling, and many would vote to allow polygamy.
It’s time we all stand up and say something by kicking out all the incumbents next time around. If not for the bad administration by Congress and Obama, do it for these reasons, an overbearing, and increasingly overreaching U.S. Government.
What happened to the protesters from the 1960’s. It seems the U.S. is incapable of doing this anymore (the Tea Parties don’t count b/c they are really astroturfing and not thinking independently).
The protesters of the 60’s are the ones running the government now.
