Looks interesting. I would love to make it but don’t think I will make the time. Perhaps if they ever do it out west. Preferably Vegas or Phoenix.
I expect the Castello’s will be great as well as Ron Jackson.
Vegas.com is a HUGE brand so I bet Dan Hippler knows what he is talking about.
Is NewYorkCity.com a large enough brand to justify a contributing speaker I wonder. I recognize that it is probably one of the best domains in the world, but is it successful enough to tell others how to do it? I can’t find a single comparative site that says it gets more than a handful of visitors a month.
Oh well, just a thought…
I bet the AutoSales.com presentation will be very interesting as well.
Best of luck with the show.
Troy says
Ohhhh…. Never mind. It looks like NewYorkCity.com is also NYC.com and NYC.com has not only a great domain, but a well known brand.

@Troy
Believe me, Sean Miller (NewYorkCity.com/NYC.com) alone is worth the price of admission. His monetization strategies are nothing short of brilliant.
Troy says
Thanks David. I am sure that is the case.
I did a quick google search and found this article from 10 years ago. I don’t know what the asking price was then but I bet compared to today’s prices it was a steal of a deal!

David–hope you guys video/DVD (or at least CD) at least the speakers presentations for sale.
Would make a mint for your org; for years to come.
Don’t need anything fancy; a single camera aimed at the speakers is plenty if you go video
Here’s your first sale.
David J Castello says
@Troy
In that 2001 NY Post article the woman from the city said she would bid $1. Sean told me that lame joke ticked him off so much that he decided then and there to pull the sale and develop the names. He proceeded to make millions.
Troy says
That is hilarious David! Thanks for sharing the story.
In the end I think we all know he made the right choice.=)

I would also love to buy a DVD of the speakers if possible. I don’t think I can make it to Chicago.
