The domain name DigitalTrust.com sold for $14,600 today on NameJet.com
Its a nice domain, but personally think it went for too much unless it went to an end user.
A couple of other interesting sales on NameJet.com today including Solars.com for $6,100, PremiumLife.com for $2,655 and ParentsKnow.com for $2,200.
The really interesting auction is the one that closes tomorrow for the domain Karat.com.
The auction already is over $18K with 250 bidders in the closed auction this may well be the next big money domain.
If any of you are stressed out by being in that auction, you could have bought SmokeMarijuana.com which just sold for $676 on NameJet.com today.

“Its a nice domain, but personally think it went for too much unless it went to an end user”
I believe it is a well known domainer.
You also forgot to mention W0W.com (with zero) for $ 5,099.

I didn’t forget to mention “W0W.com (with zero) for $ 5,099”
I didn’t know anything about it.
Sorry, my mistake.
I thought I saw your name on the bidder list.
I was in the smokemarijuana but bowed out as I thought a out my political career, what career I have left that is
so… i have a little bit of money to invest… and i wanted to know… are domains a good thing?
did you report here also the most interesting domains on sale on Afternic?
A certain bidder has been going heavy on auctions.
Thus you’re seeing prices escalating again, just like when 2 Canadian more active.
HawaiiFun.com – $3900
solars.com – $6100
brownings.com $1310
premiumlife.com $2655
booktools.com – $1010
invar.com $2900
That’s just the wins of his from today that I know of . I’m sure there were more. The $15k he spent here got him 6 names for the price of digitaltrust.com
That particular bidder is very well known.
He is part of the old inner circle.
I don’t recall him bidding for a number of years.
He is a class act.
Old inner circle ?
Some guys ‘roll up’ on names like that. DigitalTrust.com is a smokin’ brand – if you have a plan! Others have a crazy big bankroll and throw caution to the wind. I think the first scenario is a better and smarter play!
I’n curious how long the good doctor can keep it up?!
I will stick with Caret.com ^
Just so there isn’t any misunderstanding,
the winner of DigitalTrust is a different person than the
winner of Solars.
I’d like some transparency on Namejet auctions. There are many auctions I’m in where the final bid has my head scratching because it makes no sense. If the domain was for sale on GoDaddy auctions or DNForum it wouldn’t even get half of what it gets at Namejet. I’d like to see that there are actual people bidding on this and not someone just running up the price.
Chris,
You are mistaken.
There is a lot of transparency on Namejet.
(I am not defending NJ or any other auction site.)
What you are really complaining about is that NJ has more eyes
and bidders that are willing to pay wholesale price.
More bidders leave the lowballers in the dust.
Did anyone catch the the final bid for Karat.com (I followed it to a little over $20K)?
Karat closed at $ 22,132.
Meyer
Karat closed at $ 22,132.

Thanks!
there is no real need of new TLDs since there are lots of good .com domains still unregistered
