Well its that time again.
We went through the 250+ domain in the Live RickLatona.com TRAFFIC auction and selected what we think are the most interesting and potentially best buys from the auction.
We notice there are quite a few ccTLD’s in this auction, which as my readers know is not my thing, so I haven’t selected any of these. Having said that XXX.us is certainly an interesting domain.
There are several .ca domains and investors should be aware that Canada still has a presence requirement for ownership of these domains so make sure you can meet this requirement before buying one of these.
The auction will be held on Friday starting at 4pm PST and you can bid remotely online at Latonas.com
Here are our picks, good luck to all sellers and bidders:

EngineeringDegrees.com $300-$400 (education)

I agree with Golf Clothing and YGA.com, Training Bra not bad although not a stand alone site and plural better IMO.
Mike you did not like Portland.org, I think for development priced with a fair reserve.
everything.tv says
Sorry I missed, Someone is selling a name for $300 that sold for $42,000 ?
Cartoonz says
catfood.com is a Sector Nine name…. (movie)

I’m with everything.tv–why is a 42k domain set at $300 –$400 reserve?
Could it be that the U.S. post office is circling near by?

I think portland.org has been on auction at one of the recent shows around this price and did not sell, but I’m just going from memory.

Ms. Domainer
I don’t think the US post office would have a claim to this domain, for one in the states they are really called zip codes.
Europe they are referred to as postal codes.
In the auction I referred to the domain the started with a reserve of just $1K or $2K and ran all the way up to 42K. Maybe the winner of the auction didn’t pay and the same guy owns the domain and is using the same strategy.

I think plural names are better just because of the search volume for plurals is greater than singular forms. I just wish I could go back in time and buy some good domain names to sell for ridiculous amounts of money in the future.

These guys are only into promoting their own and friends domain name inventory
quite a few crap names on this list and i would not recommend anyone to waste there time submitting domain names.
Peace
mike says
avatars.com may have trademark issues
Junior says
What is better? CatFood.com for $50k or DogFood.net for $5k?
mike says
im sick of hearing comments about ‘trademark issues’
crap is getting old. i got rich off it.
